Abstrak prarancangan pabrik crystal palm sugar (gula semut) didirikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekspor gula semut dari indonesia mulai tahun 2029. gula semut memiliki prospek bisnis yang besar karena meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat dan pelaku usaha gula semut. pabrik crystal palm sugar ini menggunakan nira kelapa (cocos nucifera l.) sebagai bahan baku dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 50.000 ton/tahun. proses pembuatan gula semut terdiri dari 4 tahap, dimulai dari pasteurisasi bahan baku, evaporasi, kristalisasi dan pengeringan akhir sesuai baku mutu. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan menggunakan metode struktur garis dengan waktu kerja selama 330 hari/tahun. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 148 orang. lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di desa khairiah mandah kec. mandah, kabupaten indragiri hilir, provinsi riau, indonesia, dengan luas lahan 8.657 m2. sumber air pabrik berasal dari sungai mandah. sedangkan aliran listrik didistribusikan oleh pln, pertamina, dan juga tersedia unit pembangkit (generator diesel). berikut hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp.579.835.787.633 2. working capital investment (wci) = rp.102.323.962.524 3. total capital investment (tci) = rp.682.159.750.157 4. total production cost (tpc) = rp.3.140.238.186.316 5. sales cost (sc) = rp.3.507.469.019.445 6. laba bersih = rp.275.423.124.847 7. pot = 4,2 tahun 8. break event point (bep) = 53 % 9. internal rate of return (irr) = 25,01% 10. rate of return (ror) = 40,38 % berdasarkan studi kelayakan teknis dan ekonomis diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa prarancangan pabrik crystal palm sugar ini layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap rancangan.

ABSTRACT The design of the Crystal Palm Sugar factory was made on the basis of meeting the needs of palm sugar exports from Indonesia starting in 2029. Crystal palm sugar has great business and market prospects due to the needs of the community and business actors for granulated sugar. This Crystal Palm Sugar factory uses Coconut Palm (Cocos nucifera L.) as the main raw material with a production capacity of 50.000 tons/year. The process of making palm sugar consists of 4 main stages, starting from pasteurization of raw materials, evaporation, crystallization, and final drying to produce the best quality palm sugar. The planned form of the company is a Limited Liability Company (PT) using the line structure method with a working time of 330 days/year. The employee needs to run this company found 148 people. The factory location was established in Khairiah Mandah Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia with a land area of 8,657 m2. The water source comes from the Mandah river. Meanwhile, electricity is distributed by PLN, PERTAMINA, and diesel generators. The following are the results of the economic analysis obtained 1. Rate of Return (ROR) = 40,38 % Based on the feasible and economical study above, it can be said that the Design of Crystal Palm Sugar is feasible to proceed to the design stage.
