Stadion sepak bola adalah bangunan untuk kegiatan olahraga sepak bola termasuk fasilitas untuk penonton baik pertandingan/perlombaan maupun untuk latihan (permenpora ri no. 7 tahun 2021). bireuen merupakan sebuah kabupaten yang terletak di provinsi aceh. menurut hasil data dari bps kabupaten bireuen, pertumbuhan penduduk mengalami peningkatan pesat dari tahun 2011 hingga tahun 2019, dimana pada tahun 2011 jumlah penduduk sebanyak 398.201 jiwa dan tahun 2019 sebanyak 471.635 jiwa. dan menurut hasil data dari dispora kabupaten bireuen, terdapat total 290 lapangan sepak bola yang tersebar di 17 kecamatan. hal ini menjadi indikator potensi daerah dalam bidang olahraga, khususnya sepak bola yang merupakan olahraga paling populer di dunia. namun saat ini, kabupaten bireuen belum memiliki stadion sepak bola yang mampu mewadahi penyelenggaraan event-event olahraga daerah maupun nasional. perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan rancangan stadion sepak bola bireuen dengan fasilitas yang mampu memenuhi standar dan ketentuan nasional di kabupaten bireuen. pendekatan high-tech architecture dipilih untuk menciptakan kesan elemen struktur yang terekpos sebagai ekspresi dari bangunan. dengan demikian, penerapan high-tech architecture diharapkan dapat mendukung perancangan stadion sepak bola yang lebih efisien, nyaman, dan menarik secara visual bagi pengguna stadion di kabupaten bireuen. kata kunci: bireuen, high-tech architecture, sepak bola, stadion

A Football Stadium is a building for football sports activities including facilities for spectators for both matches/competitions and for training (Regulation of the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia No. 7 of 2021). Bireuen is a Regency located in Aceh Province. According to data from the Bireuen Regency BPS, population growth has increased rapidly from 2011 to 2019, where in 2011 the population was 398,201 people and in 2019 it was 471,635 people. According to data from the Bireuen Regency Dispora, there are a total of 290 football fields spread across 17 Districts. This is an indicator of the region's potential in the field of sports, especially football which is the most popular sport in the world. However, currently, Bireuen Regency does not have a football stadium that is capable of accommodating regional and national sporting events. This national design aims to present the Bireuen Football Stadium design with facilities that are able to meet the standards and provisions in Bireuen Regency. The High-Tech Architecture approach was chosen to create the impression of exposed structural elements as an expression of the building. Thus, the application of High-Tech Architecture is expected to support the design of a more efficient, comfortable, and visually appealing football stadium for stadium users in Bireuen Regency.
