Hubungan parameter fisik dengan kadar testosteron seminal plasma pada sapi aceh abstrak parameter fisik sapi aceh yang baik dan ideal mampu menjadi acuan untuk seleksi pejantan unggul yang akan berhubungan dengan perkembangbiakan sapi nantinya. pejantan yang unggul tidak terlepas dari kemampuannya dalam menghasilkan spermatozoa dan proses spermatogenesis yang dikendalikan oleh hormon testosteron. penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan parameter fisik dengan kadar testosteron seminal plasma pada sapi aceh. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di bptu-hpt indrapuri, aceh besar dengan menggunakan 5 ekor sapi aceh berumur 3-5 tahun dengan bobot badan 300-450 kg. semen segar dikoleksi menggunakan teknik vagina buatan dan analisis kadar testosteron menggunakan metode enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (elisa). data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson. hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata konsentrasi testosteron (5,80±1,52 ng/ml); lingkar skrotum (29,8±2,86 cm); tinggi badan (120,3±6,05 cm); dan lingkar pelvis (171,0±7,96 cm). koefisien korelasi (r) antara konsentrasi testosteron dengan lingkar skrotum (r=0,955*, p0,05); dan lingkar pelvis (r=0,408, p>0,05). disimpulkan bahwa testosteron seminal plasma berkorelasi positif kuat dan signifikan dengan lingkar skrotum. korelasi positif juga didapatkan pada parameter tinggi badan, dan lingkar pelvis namun tidak signifikan. kata kunci: sapi aceh; hormon testosteron

RELATIONSHIP OF PHYSICAL PARAMETERS WITH LEVELS SEMINAL PLASMA TESTOSTERONE IN ACEH CAWS ABSTRACT Good and ideal physical parameters of Aceh cattle can be a reference for the selection of superior bulls that will be related to the future breeding of cattle. Superior bulls are inseparable from their ability to produce spermatozoa and the spermatogenesis process controlled by the testosterone hormone. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical parameters and seminal plasma testosterone levels in Aceh cattle. This study was conducted at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri, Aceh Besar using 5 Aceh cattle aged 3-5 years with a body weight of 300-450 kg. Fresh semen was collected using an artificial vagina technique and testosterone levels were analyzed using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method. The research data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The results showed an average testosterone concentration (5.80 ± 1.52 ng / mL); scrotal circumference (29.8 ± 2.86 cm); height (120.3 ± 6.05 cm); and pelvic circumference (171.0 ± 7.96 cm). Correlation coefficient (r) between testosterone concentration and scrotal circumference (r=0.955*, p0.05); and pelvic circumference (r=0.408, p>0.05). It was concluded that seminal plasma testosterone was strongly and significantly positively correlated with scrotal circumference. Positive correlation was also found in height and pelvic circumference parameters but not significant. Keywords: Acehnese cattle; testosterone hormone
