Pada tahun 2022, provinsi aceh merupakan provinsi kedua terbanyak setelah jawa timur terkait jumlah ternak terkena pmk, daerah paling tinggi penyebaran pmk di provinsi aceh yakni kabupaten aceh besar sebanyak 12.253 ekor. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi virus penyakit mulut dan kuku (pmk) menggunakan metode imunokromatografi dengan rapid test kit pada sapi di bukloh, kec. sukamakmur, kab. aceh besar. penelitian ini menggunakan metode lateral flow immunochromatographic (lfi) untuk mendeteksi virus penyakit mulut dan kuku (pmk) secara cepat pada 10 sampel saliva sapi yang memiliki gejala klinis. penelitian memperoleh hasil negatif pada seluruh sampel saliva sapi yang menunjukkan bahwa strip test lfi belum bisa mendeteksi virus pmk serotipe a, o, dan asia 1. hal ini ditunjukkan oleh munculnya hanya satu garis merah pada perangkat tes yang muncul pada garis kontrol.

In 2022, Aceh Province is the second largest province after East Java in terms of the number of FMD affected livestock, the highest area of FMD spread in Aceh Province is Aceh Besar District with 12,253 head. This study aims to detect foot and mouth disease (FMD) virus using immunochromatography method with rapid test kit in cattle in Bukloh, Sukamakmur sub-district, Aceh Besar district. This study used the Lateral flow immunochromatographic (LFI) method to rapidly detect foot and mouth disease (FMD) virus in 10 saliva samples of cattle with clinical symptoms. The study obtained negative results in all cattle saliva samples, indicating that the LFI Strip Test cannot detect FMD virus serotypes A, O, and Asia 1. This is indicated by the appearance of only one red line on the test device that appears on the control line.
