Implementasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar negeri kabupaten aceh barat daya oleh: risna husaifa npm. 2209200050036 komisi pembimbing: 1. dr. niswanto, m.pd 2. dr. ismail, m. pd abstrak kepala sekolah selaku supervisor dalam supervisi akademik dituntut kompeten untuk meningkatkan kinerja gurunya. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengethui; (1) perencanaan supervisi akademik; (2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik; (3) evaluasi program supervisi akademik; dan (4) tindak lanjut program supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru sd pda gugus 9 kecamatan lembah sabil kabupaten aceh barat daya. teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru di sdn 3 lembah sabil dan sdn 7 lembah sabil. analisis data dengan menggunkan deskriptif kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian adalah: (1) perencanaan supervisi akademik pada sdn 3 lembah sabil yaitu merencanakan tujuan, jadwan supervisi, pendekatan, teknik, dan model supervisi akademik, serta memilih instrumen dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. perencanaan supervisi akademik pada sdn 7 lembah sabil yaitu merumuskan tujuan dan target yang akan dicapai, jadwal supervisi dan instrumen yang akan digunakan dalam melaksanakan akademik; (2) pelaksanaan awal sebelum melakukan supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu: pelaksanaan survei pada jalannya pembelajaran dari hasil kunjungan kelas; (3) evaluasi program supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dengan cara evaluasi kemampuan guru serta untuk memperbaiki program berikutnya dengan menggunakan pembinaan memberikan solusi yang tepat dala mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi guru; dan (4) tindak lanjut program supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan cara membuat rencana tindak lanjut (rtl) yang selanjutnya akan diberikan pelatihan, workshop, bimbingan kkg, dan pemanfaatan keprofesian berkelanjutan (pkb) kabupaten aceh barat daya kata kunci : supervisi akademik, kepala sekolah, kinerja guru



Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF ACADEMIC SUPERVISION BY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN ENHANCING TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN ACEH BARAT DAYA REGENCY ABSTRACT (Risna Husaifa) In their role as supervisors, school principals are tasked with conducting academic supervision to enhance teacher performance. This study aimed to investigate: (1) the planning of academic supervision; (2) the implementation of academic supervision; (3) the evaluation of the academic supervision program; and (4) the follow-up actions stemming from the school principals’ academic supervision program in improving the performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster 9, Lembah Sabil Sub-district, Aceh Barat Daya Regency. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were the school principals and teachers at State Elementary School 3 of Lembah Sabil and State Elementary School 7 of Lembah Sabil. The data analysis employed qualitative descriptive techniques, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study were as follows: (1) At State Elementary School 3 of Lembah Sabil, academic supervision planning involved setting objectives, scheduling supervision, choosing appropriate approaches, techniques, and models of academic supervision, and selecting instruments for the implementation. At State Elementary School 7 of Lembah Sabil, the supervision planning included formulating goals and targets, scheduling supervision, and selecting instruments; (2) The initial stage before the principal conducted academic supervision included the steps of surveying the learning process and reviewing the outcomes of class visits; (3) The evaluation of the principal's academic supervision program involved assessing teacher capabilities and improving the program through coaching and providing solutions to teacher challenges; and (4) The follow-up actions to the academic supervision program to enhance teacher performance included developing a Follow-up Action Plan (RTL), offering training, workshops, and KKG (teacher working group) guidance, as well as promoting ongoing professional development (PKB) in Aceh Barat Daya Regency.
