ABSTRACT Title : Trade Relationship between Indonesia and Russia Author : Zahrani Masthura NPM : 2001101010005 Faculty/Department : Economics & Business/Economics Development Supervisor : Dr. Aliasuddin, S.E., M.Si Concentration : International Economics This study aims to examine export-import relationship between Indonesia and Russia using foreign income, domestic income, exchange rate, and Rusia-Ukraine war during the period 2018-2023 using VAR method. This study use mothly time series data with the results showed that foreign income and Rusia-Ukraine war have a significant impact on Indonesia's exports to Russia. However, only Rusia-Ukraine war has a significant impact on Indonesia's imports while other variables not significant. This indicates that the war between Russia and Ukraine has a significant impact on foreign trade between Indonesia and Russia. Therefore, it is hoped that the government can expanding Indonesia’s export markets to various countries and enhance export quality and increase innovation to be more competitive in the global market.
