TURSINA, PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR LIMBAH KULIT PISANG DAN BIOCHAR LIMBAH KAYU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SELADA (LACTUCA SATIVA L). Banda Aceh Fakultas Pertanian,2024

Selada merupakan komoditi tanaman hortikultura yang pada umumnya dikonsumsi sebagai lalapan. pertambahan jumlah penduduk indonesia dan inovasi dalam pengolahan makanan menjadikan kebutuhan konsumsi salad juga semakin meningkat sehingga perlu didukung dengan produksi yang lebih banyak. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pupuk organik cair dan biochar limbah kayu yang tepat, serta interaksi kedua faktor terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman selada. penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan fakultas pertanian universitas syiah kuala, darussalam, banda aceh. pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan september sampai november 2023. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) pola faktorial 3 x 2 dengan 3 ulangan. faktor yang diteliti yaitu pupuk organik cair yang terdiri dari 3 taraf (60 ml polybag-1, 80 ml polybag-1, dan 100 ml polybag-1) dan biochar limbah kayu yang terdiri dari 2 taraf (kontrol dan 30 g polybag-1). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk organik cair berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang akar dan ketebalan daun selada, berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang selada pada umur 28 hst. parameter dengan hasil terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan dengan dosis 100 ml polybag-1. biochar limbah kayu berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman selada umur 28 hst, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman selada umur 35 hst, jumlah daun umur 7 hst, diameter batang umur 28 hst, dan panjang akar tanaman selada. parameter dengan hasil terbaik umumnya dijumpai pada perlakuan biochar limbah kayu dengan dosis 30 g polybag-1. terdapat interaksi yang nyata akibat perlakuan pupuk organik cair dengan biochar limbah kayu terhadap jumlah daun tanaman selada pada umur 14 hst.



Abstract

Lettuce is a horticultural commodity that is generally consumed as a side dish. The increase in the population of Indonesia and innovation in food processing have also increased the need for salad consumption, so it needs to be supported by greater production. This study aims to determine the right dosage of liquid organic fertilizer and wood waste biochar, as well as the interaction of the two factors on the growth and production of lettuce plants. This research will be conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh. The research will be carried out from September to November 2023. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with a factorial pattern of 3 x 2 with 3 replications. The factors studied were liquid organic fertilizer consisting of 3 levels (60 ml polybag-1, 80 ml polybag-1, and 100 ml polybag-1) and wood waste biochar consisting of 2 levels (control and 30 g polybag-1). The results showed that the dose of liquid organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the root length and thickness of lettuce leaves, and a significant effect on the diameter of lettuce stems at the age of 28 HST. The parameters with the best results were found in the treatment with a dose of 100 ml polybag-1. Wood waste biochar had a very significant effect on the height of lettuce plants at the age of 28 HST, a significant effect on the height of lettuce plants at the age of 35 HST, the number of leaves at the age of 7 HST, the diameter of the stem at the age of 28 HST, and the length of lettuce plant roots. The parameters with the best results were generally found in the treatment of wood waste biochar with a dose of 30 g polybag-1. There was a significant interaction due to the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer with wood waste biochar on the number of lettuce leaves at the age of 14 HST.
