(2) dr. razali, m.pd. kata kunci : kecerdasan emosi, atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh tingkat kecerdasan emosi atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat kecerdasaan emosi atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh yang langsung di bawah induk dispora aceh yang berjumlah 20 atlet. sampel yang diambil dari hasil total sampling berjumlah 20 atlet. instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase. berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat kecerdasan emosi atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh berada pada kategori “kurang sekali” sebesar 3.33%, kategori “kurang” sebesar 26.67%, kategori “sedang” sebesar 43.33%, kategori “baik” sebesar 20%, dan kategori “baik sekali” sebesar 6.67%. sedangkan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yaitu 144.16, tingkat kecerdasan emosi atlet sepakbola pplpd smakon aceh masuk dalam kategori sedang.

Method used is a survey with data collection techniques using questionnaire. The population in this study were PPLPD Smakon football athletes Aceh is directly under the Aceh Dispora parent, which numbers 20 athletes. The samples taken from the total sampling results were 20 athletes. Instruments that used is a questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive percentages. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that: (1) the level of emotional intelligence PPLPD Smakon Aceh Football athletes are in the "very poor" category amounted to 3.33%, the "less" category amounted to 26.67%, the "medium" category amounted to 43.33%, the "good" category was 20%, and the "very good" category was 6.67%. Meanwhile, based on the average value, namely 144.16, the level of intelligence The emotions of PPLPD Smakon Aceh football athletes are in the medium category.
