Aktivis lingkungan menunjukkan tindakan perilaku pro-lingkungan yang dapat mencegah dan meminimalisir dampak buruk yang dapat terjadi terhadap lingkungan. terdapat beberapa istilah untuk mendeskripsikan tindakan-tindakan yang mencakup perilaku pro-lingkungan salah satunya adalah ecological behavior. aktivis lingkungan memiliki karakteristik individu yang sadar dalam menjaga lingkungan, sikap positif terhadap lingkungan, dukungan sosial, sosialisasi norma dan nilai lingkungan, pengetahuan terkait lingkungan, motivasi menjaga lingkungan, tanggung jawab personal, dan kepribadian individu tersebut. ecological behavior yang ditunjukkan oleh para aktivis lingkungan berpotensi memiliki keterkaitan dengan consideration of future consequences (cfc) . tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara consideration of future consequences dengan ecological behavior pada aktivis lingkungan di kota banda aceh. sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 160 aktivis lingkungan yang berdomisili di kota banda aceh yang berkecimpung dalam organisasi non-governmental peduli lingkungan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. instrumen penelitian yaitu consideration of future consequences scale (cfc-14) dan general ecological behavior scale (geb) yang telah diadaptasi kedalam versi bahasa indonesia. hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara consideration of future consequences dengan ecological behavior pada aktivis lingkungan di kota banda aceh, dengan nilai signifikansi (p)= 0,030 dan koefisien korelasi (r)= 0,172. hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat consideration of future consequences maka akan semakin tinggi pula perilaku ecological behavior pada aktivis lingkungan. begitu pula sebaliknya, semakin rendah tingkat consideration of future consequences pada aktivis lingkungan maka akan semakin rendah pula ecological behavior.

Environmental activists possess individual characteristics that include environmental awareness, a positive attitude towards the environment, social support, the socialization of environmental norms and values, environmental knowledge, motivation to protect the environment, personal responsibility, and personality traits. The ecological behavior exhibited by environmental activists potentially correlates with the Consideration of Future Consequences (CFC). The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the Consideration of Future Consequences and Ecological Behavior among environmental activists in Banda Aceh City. The sample in this study consisted of 160 environmental activists residing in Banda Aceh City who are involved in non-governmental environmental organizations selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments were the Consideration of Future Consequences Scale (CFC-14) and the General Ecological Behavior Scale (GEB), which have been adapted into Indonesian.
