Provinsi aceh dikenal sebagai salah satu daerah utama penghasil beras di indonesia. kabupaten aceh besar, sebagai bagian dari provinsi aceh, juga merupakan salah satu wilayah yang berkontribusi dalam produksi padi. salah satu kecamatan di kabupaten tersebut adalah kecamatan indrapuri, yang memiliki luas area persawahan sekitar 2.827,14 hektar. menurut data dari badan penyuluh pertanian (bpp) indrapuri tahun 2023, kecamatan ini berhasil menghasilkan 13.670 ton padi dengan produktivitas lahan mencapai 6,5 ton per hektar. meskipun demikian, kecamatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi padi di masa mendatang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang semakin meningkat. adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sifat kimia dan status kesuburan tanah pada lahan sawah di desa lamsiot dan desa meusalee kecamatan indrapuri kabupaten aceh besar.

The province of Aceh is known as one of the main rice producing regions in Indonesia. Greater Aceh District, as part of the province of Aceh, is also one of the regions that contributes to the production of peas. One of the districts is Indrapuri district, which has an area of approximately 2,827,14 hectares. According to data from the Agricultural Producer Agency (BPP) IndraPuri in 2023, this district has produced 13,670 tons of peas with land productivity of 6.5 tons per hectare. Nevertheless, it is expected to increase peas production in the future to meet growing needs. As for the results of this research, it is to find out the chemical properties and fertility status of the soil on the land in Lamsiot Village and Meusalee Village Indrapuri district of Aceh Big.
