Diabetes melitus tipe ii adalah gangguan metabolisme yang saat ini sangat lazim di dunia. meningkatnya prevalensi diabetes melitus tipe ii dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas hidup pasien menyoroti urgensi penelitian. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup. faktor ini dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy-analytical hierarchy process (fahp). alasan utama yang mendasari penggunaan metode fahp adalah metode ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian dan ambiguitas. penerapan metode fahp pada penelitian ini diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan data sekunder untuk memberikan rekomendasi peningkatan kualitas hidup dengan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang paling memengaruhi kualitas hidup. penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten pidie karena merupakan salah satu dari kabupaten di provinsi aceh dengan penderita diabetes melitus terbanyak yang sangat tepat dijadikan wilayah untuk penelitian. data penelitian terdiri dari 4 variabel yaitu kualitas hidup, aktivitas fisik, kepatuhan minum obat dan penerimaan terhadap penyakit dengan total responden 105 pasien. hasil dari metode fuzzy-analytical hierarchy process menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas fisik merupakan pengobatan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup pasien diabetes melitus tipe ii dengan bobot global sebesar 0,3740.

Type II diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder that is currently highly prevalent in the world. The increasing prevalence of type II diabetes mellitus and its impact on patients' quality of life highlights the urgency of research. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that have the most influence on quality of life. This factor can be analyzed using the Fuzzy-Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method. The main reason underlying the use of the FAHP method is that this method can be used to develop a better understanding in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity. The application of the FAHP method in this study was implemented using secondary data to provide recommendations for improving quality of life by knowing the factors that most influence quality of life. This research was conducted in Pidie District because it is one of the districts in Aceh Province with the most people with diabetes mellitus which is very appropriate as an area for research. The research data consisted of 4 variables, namely quality of life, physical activity, medication adherence and acceptance of the disease with a total of 105 patient respondents. The results of the Fuzzy-Analytical Hierarchy Process method show that physical activity is the treatment that has the most influence on the quality of life of type II diabetes mellitus patients with a global weight of 0.3740.
