Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media articulate storyline 3 di kelas viii smp negeri 8 banda aceh, dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media articulate storyline 3 terhadap hasil belajar ips siswa kelas viii di smp negeri 8 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design, berbentuk one group pretest-posttest design yang mana hanya terdapat satu kelompok. adapun yang menjadi populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas viii yang berjumlah 7 kelas. sampel pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas viii-7 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. adapun teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. pada teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data lembar observasi, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t-test beda dua rata-rata. hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa penerapan media media articulate storyline 3 terhadap hasil belajar ips sudah dilakukan sesuai dengan sintak model team games tournament (tgt) dan berjalan lancar dengan hasil analisis lembar observasi sebesar 87% dikategorikan sangat baik. hasil nilai rata-rata sebelum menggunakan media articulate storyline 3 yaitu 64 dikategorikan cukup dan setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 80,1 dikategorikan baik, hal ini membuktikan bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil nilai uji t_hitung > t_tabel atau 16.663 > 2.042 pada taraf signifikansi α = 5% (0,05), maka h_o ditolak dan h_a diterima atau terdapat pengaruh yang nyata (signifikan) pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media articulate storyline 3 pada mata pelajaran ips. dengan demikian, maka penggunaan media articulate storyline 3 berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar ips siswa kelas viii-7 di smp negeri 8 negeri banda aceh. kata kunci: media articulate storyline 3, hasil belajar.

This study aims to determine the application of Articulate Storyline 3 media in class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh, and to determine how much influence Articulate Storyline 3 media has on the learning outcomes of social studies class VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. The research used a quantitative approach with a type of Pre-experimental research design, in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all VIII grade students totaling 7 classes. The sample in this study were students in class VIII-7, totaling 32 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique. In the data analysis technique using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test different between two means. The results of the average value before using Articulate Storyline 3 media is 64 categorized as sufficient and after being given the treatment the average value of students is 80.1 categorized as good, this proves that there is a significant change in student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the test value tcount> ttable or 16.663> 2.042 at the significance level α = 5% (0.05), then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a real influence (significant) on student learning outcomes before and after using Articulate Storyline 3 media in social studies subjects. Thus, the use of Articulate Storyline 3 media affects the social studies learning outcomes of students in class VIII-7 at SMP Negeri 8 Negeri Banda Aceh.
