Penelitian dengan judul penerapan model quantum teaching pada materi musik barat terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas xi-bahasa man 1 banda aceh bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai penerapan model quantum teaching terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas xi-bahasa pada man 1 banda aceh melalui pelajaran seni budaya terhadap materi musik barat. pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. adapun yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi-bahasa man 1 banda aceh. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, metode interview (wawancara), metode dokumentasi. penelitian ini dilakukan selama 4x pertemuan. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas xi-bahasa pada pembelajaran seni budaya di man 1 banda aceh. hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi kelas, dan peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dalam setiap pertemuan yang semakin membaik. selain itu peningkatan motivasi belajar ini juga terlihat dari perbandingan nilai pretest dan posttest serta hasil perolehan skor melalui angket motivasi siswa. analisis data hasil penelittian menggunakan rumus presentase sebagai berikut: p= f/n x 100%. dengan keterangan p: angka presentase yang dicari, f : frekuensi aktivitas yang muncul, n: jumlah frekuensi. dan perolehan nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar yang didapat melalui angket motivasi menjukkan hasil bahwa 77,83% siswa termotivasi tinggi dalam belajar seni budaya. hasil perbandingan nilai pretest dan postest diperoleh bahwa sebelum mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model quantum teaching hanya 14 siswa yang tuntas dalam pembelajaran(46,67%), sedangkan sebanyak 16 siswa masih belum tuntas (53,33%). selanjutnya, setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran quantum teaching diperoleh hasil bahwa 26 siswa (86,67%) telah tuntas, dan hanya 4 siswa yang belum tuntas (13,33%). berdasarkan hal tesebut terlihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 40% siswa yang menjadi tuntas setelah megikuti pembelajaran dengan model quantum teaching.

The research entitled Application of the Quantum Teaching model in western music material to increase student learning motivation in class XI-Language MAN 1 Banda Aceh aims to describe the application of the Quantum Teaching model to increase student learning motivation in class culture towards western musical material. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects in this research were all students of class XI-Bahasa Man 1 Banda Aceh. The data collection techniques used in this research used the observation method, interview method, documentation method. This research was conducted during 4 meetings. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Quantum Teaching model can increase learning motivation and learning outcomes for class XI-Language students in arts and culture learning at MAN 1 Banda Aceh. This is shown by an increase in student enthusiasm in participating in learning, an increase in student participation in class discussions, and an increase in the learning outcomes obtained in each meeting which are getting better. Apart from that, this increase in learning motivation can also be seen from the comparison of pretest and posttest scores as well as the results of scores obtained through student motivation questionnaires. Analysis of research data uses the following percentage formula: P= f/N x 100%. With the information P: Percentage number sought, f: Frequency of activity that appears, N: Number of frequencies. And the average score for learning motivation obtained through the motivation questionnaire showed that 77.83% of students were highly motivated in studying arts and culture. The results of comparing pretest and posttest scores showed that before taking part in learning using the quantum teaching model, only 14 students had completed the learning (46.67%), while 16 students had still not completed it (53.33%). Furthermore, after applying the Quantum Teaching learning model, the results showed that 26 students (86.67%) had completed it, and only 4 students had not completed it (13.33%). Based on this, it can be seen that there has been an increase of 40% of students who have completed their studies after following learning using the quantum teaching model.
