Strategi kepemimpinan pesantren dalam penguatan karakter religius santri di pesantren darul ihsan aceh besar oleh: siti nurhaliza k npm: 2209200050023 komisi pembimbing: 1. dr. ismail m. pd 2. dr. khairuddin m. pd abstrak strategi merupakan langkah-langkah atau cara yang diperlukan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan yang telah direncanakan secara efektif dan efesien. kepemimpinan pondok pesantren merupakan usaha atau proses tata kelola lembaga pendidikan pesantren yang dipimpin oleh seorang kiai (pemimpin) yang mengikut sertakan beberapa sumber daya manusia untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yaitu mencerdaskan anak bangsa, berakhlakul karimah, menjadi manusia yang lebih baik, berguna bagi agama, bangsa dan negara. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepemimpinan pesantren dalam penguatan karakter religius santri di pesantren darul ihsan aceh besar. pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deksriptif. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. subjek penelitian yaitu (1) pimpinan pesantren, (2) kepala sekolah mts, (3) majlis syura (wakil pimpinan), (4) ustadz bagian kesantrian, ustadzah (tenaga pendidik), dan tiga santri. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). perencanaan dalam penguatan karakter religius santri di pesantren darul ihsan di awali dengan rapat dan musyawarah yang melibatkan semua staf dipesantren (staf majlis syura atau wakil pimpinan pesantren, wadir kesantrian diantaranya bagian ibadah, kebersihan, kesehatan, organisasi, bahasa, wadir akademik, sarpras, ustadz/ustadzah, dan staf lain sebagainya). 2) strategi pelaksanaan yang diimplementasikan oleh pimpinan pesantren dan staf dipesantren darul ihsan dalam penguatan karakter religius santri adalah (1) strategi ibadah, (2) strategi pembiasaan, (3) strategi keteladanan, (4) strategi reward dan punishment. 3) evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan pesantren yaitu evaluasi secara berkala yaitu evaluasi perbulan, persemester dan tahunan. hal yang dievaluasi meliputi berbagai program yang berkaitan dengan penguatan karakter religus santri selama satu bulan, apa saja kendalanya, dan perencanaan kegiatan satu bulan ke depan. 4) kendala yang dihadapi dalam penguatan karakter religius yaitu faktor internal meliputi santri masih membawa budaya dan perilaku dari rumah, dan faktor eksternal diantaranya kurang nya kesadaran santri dan lingkungan masyarakat sehingga berpengaruh kepada iman santri. kata kunci: strategi, kepemimpinan pesantren, karakter religius



Abstract

LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES OF THE HEAD OF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN STRENGTHENING THE RELIGIOUS CHARACTER OF STUDENTS OF DARUL IHSAN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN ACEH BESAR ABSTRACT (Siti Nurhaliza K) Strategy is the steps or ways needed to achieve a goal that has been planned effectively and efficiently. Leadership in an Islamic boarding school revolves around the effort or process of governance of boarding school educational institutions led by a kiai (leader), which includes several human resources to achieve educational goals: educating the nation's children, having good morals, becoming better human beings, beneficial for religion, nation, and state. This study aimed to determine the leadership strategy of the Head of the Islamic Boarding School in strengthening the religious character of students of Darul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Observation, interviews, and documentation were carried out to obtain the data. The research subjects were (1) the Head of the Islamic Boarding School, (2) the Principal of the Islamic School, (3) Majlis Syura (Vice Heads), (4) Islamic Preachers (Educators), and three students. The results showed that: 1). Planning to strengthen the religious character of students at Darul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School started with meetings and discussions involving all school staff (vice heads, vice director for student affairs, division of worship, cleanliness, health, organization, language, vice director for academic affairs, division of facilities and infrastructure, Islamic preachers, and other staff. 2) The strategies implemented by the leaders and staff to strengthen students' religious character were (1) worship strategy, (2) habituation strategy, (3) exemplary strategy, and (4) reward and punishment strategy. 3) The evaluation carried out by the leader was periodic: semester and annual evaluations. This included monitoring various programs related to the strategies for one month to find out the obstacles and determine planning activities for the next month 4) The obstacles were internal factors, including students' behavior that is still not getting used to adapting to a new environment, and external factors, including lack of awareness of students and the community environment that may affect student's faith.
