Tuna sirip kuning merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang didaratkan di tempat pendaratan ikan ulee cot, banda aceh. aktivitas operasi penangkapan ikan yang di lakukan nelayan tpi ulee cot menggunakan alat tangkap pancing ulur (hand line). tingkat kemampuan alat tangkap pancing ulur dalam memperoleh hasil tangkapan yang efisien perlu diketahui produktivitas penangkapan ikan khususnya perikanan tuna. kegiatan operasi penangkapan ikan juga akan lebih efesien jika nelayan dapat mengetahui pola musim penangkapan ikan sehingga dapat memudahkan dalam proses penangkapan dan mengurangi resiko kerugian usaha perikanan. penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada nelayan mengenai produktivitas penangkapan dan indeks musim penangkapan tuna sirip kuning (thunnus albacares). tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui produktivitas penangkapan cath per unit effort (cpue) tuna sirip kuning (thunnus albacares) dari tahun 2019 sampai 2023 di tpi ulee cot dan mengetahui indeks musim penangkapan (imp) tuna sirip kuning (thunnus albacares) di tpi ulee cot. metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif yang bersifat survei dan observasi. analisis yang digunakan produktivitas penangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning ialah cpue dengan satuan kg/trip sedangkan pola musim penangkapan menggunakan analisis deret waktu (moving average). hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produktivitas penangkapan tuna sirip kuning (thunnus albacares) dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2023 di tempat pendaratan ikan ulee cot mengalami fluktuasi namun cenderung menurun. produktivitas tuna sirip kuning tertinggi tahun 2020 berjumlah 53622,22 kg/trip dan terendah tahun 2022 berjumlah 7506,84 kg/trip. indeks musim penangkapan tuna sirip kuning (thunnus albacares) di tempat pendaratan ikan kota banda aceh mengalami fluktuasi. musim ikan (≥100%) perikanan tuna sirip kuning terjadi pada bulan juli hingga desember sedangkan musim tidak ada ikan (≤100%) terjadi pada bulan januari hingga juni.

Yellowfin tuna is one of the leading commodities landed at the Ulee Cot fish landing site, Banda Aceh. Fishing operations carried out by TPI fisherman Ulee Cot use hand line fishing equipment. It is necessary to know the level of ability of handline fishing gear in obtaining efficient catches, the productivity of fishing, especially tuna fisheries. Fishing operations will also be more efficient if fishermen can know the pattern of the fishing season so that it can facilitate the fishing process and reduce the risk of losses in the fishing business. This research is expected to provide information to fishermen regarding fishing productivity and the Catching Season Index for Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares). The aim of this research is to determine the fishing productivity of Cath Per Unit Effort (CPUE) of Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares) from 2019 to 2023 at TPI Ulee Cot and to find out the Catching Season Index (IMP) of Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares) at TPI Ulee Cot. The research method used is a descriptive method that is survey and observation in nature. The analysis used for yellowfin tuna fishing productivity is CPUE in units of Kg/Trip, while the fishing season pattern uses time series analysis (moving average). The research results show that the productivity of catching yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) from 2019 to 2023 at the Ulee Cot fish landing site has fluctuated but tends to decrease. The highest yellowfin tuna productivity in 2020 was 53622.22 Kg/trip and the lowest in 2022 was 7506.84 Kg/trip. The fishing season index for yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) at the fish landing site in Banda Aceh City has fluctuated. The fish season (≥100%) for yellowfin tuna fisheries occurs from July to December, while the no fish season (≤100%) occurs from January to June.
