Penerapan teknik origami pada busana dengan sentuhan etnik aceh abstrak belakangan ini industri fashion terkenal menggunakan teknik origami, khususnya teknik melipat kertas. teknik melipat kertas ini diterapkan pada kain dan menghasilkan kain yang umumnya berbentuk tiga dimensi atau dua dimensi. origami dalam bahasa jepang merupakan gabungan dari ori (melipat) dan gami (kertas). origami menciptakan bentuk tiga dimensi melalui teknik melipat. akhir-akhir ini origami juga mempengaruhi fashion untuk menciptakan karya-karya yang unik dan dirancang dengan rumit. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kualitas hasil penerapan teknik origami pada busana dengan sentuhan etnik aceh dan mengembangkan teknik-teknik baru didunia fashion dan masyarakat. penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (r&d) dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. subjek penelitian adalah 3 (tiga) desainer aceh, 1 akademisi dan 2 (dua) remaja melalui teknik purposive sampling. objek penelitian adalah penerapan teknik origami pada busana dengan sentuhan etnik aceh. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga macam instrumen, yaitu perekam suara (recorder), kamera, dan pertanyaan wawancara. wawancara dilakukan dengan metode in-depth interview atau wawancara mendalam. penelitian ini menghasilkan 2 desain. desain kedua merupakan desain pengembangan dari hasil pengembangan pertama. penelitian ini juga menghasilkan 2 produk busana dari pengembangan produk pertama. hasil wawancara berdasarkan tujuan penelitian bahwa penerapan teknik origami pada busana sangat sesuai dan layak untuk disebarluaskan serta layak dijual, namun pada pada pemilihan bahan pelipatan origami disarankan untuk menggunakan kain yang lebih tipis agar pelipatan lebih rapi. informan berpendapat bahwa etnik aceh yang dipakai pada desain busana lebih sesuai jika menggunakan salah satu motif aceh maupun kain aceh. perpaduan warna pada produk busana sangat baik karena menggunakan salah satu warna aceh yaitu warna hijau dan kombinasi warna yang sesuai untuk remaja. harga jual busana sangat dipengaruhi dengan desain, pemilihan warna dan item busana. produk busana dengan teknik origami dirancang untuk mengembangkan teknik baru pada pembuatan busana, tidak hanya pada satu item fashion, namun juga bisa diterapkan pada fashion lainnya seperti celana, tas, baju dan rok, peletakan teknik origami dapat divariasikan sesuai dengan desain yang dirancang. kata kunci : teknik origami, busana, fashion, etnik aceh, desain.

THE APPLICATION OF ORIGAMI TECHNIQUE IN FASHION WITH A TOUCH OF ACEHNESE ETHNICITY ABSTRACT Recently, the fashion industry has been known to use origami techniques, especially paper folding techniques. This paper folding technique is applied to fabric and produces a fabric that is generally three-dimensional or two-dimensional. Origami in Japanese is a combination of ori (folding) and gami (paper). Origami creates three-dimensional shapes through folding techniques. Recently, origami has also influenced fashion to create unique and intricately designed pieces. This research aims to develop the quality of the results of the application of origami techniques in clothing with a touch of Acehnese ethnicity and develop new techniques in the world of fashion and society. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method and uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 3 (three) Acehnese designers, 1 academic and 2 (two) teenagers through purposive sampling technique. The object of the research was the application of origami technique on clothing with a touch of Acehnese ethnicity. Data collection was conducted using three kinds of instruments, namely voice recorder, camera, and interview questions. The interview was conducted using the in-depth interview method. This research resulted in two designs. The second design is a development design from the first development result. This research also produced 2 fashion products from the first product development. The results of the interview based on the research objectives that the application of origami techniques in clothing is very suitable and feasible to be disseminated and worth selling, but in the selection of origami folding materials it is recommended to use thinner fabrics so that the folding is neater. The informants argued that the Acehnese ethnicity used in the fashion design is more appropriate if using one of the Acehnese motifs or Acehnese fabrics. The combination of colors in fashion products is very good because it uses one of Aceh's colors, namely green and a color combination that is suitable for teenagers. The selling price of clothing is strongly influenced by the design, color selection and clothing items. Fashion products with origami techniques are designed to develop new techniques in fashion making, not only on one fashion item, but also can be applied to other fashion such as pants, bags, clothes and skirts, the placement of origami techniques can be varied according to the design designed.
