NOVA DILA KIRANI, UJI AKTIVITAS LARVASIDA AEDES AEGYPTI EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN PANDAN LAUT PANDANUS TECTORIUS.

Abstract

Research on the larvicidal activity of Aedes aegypti methanol extract of Pandanus tectorius leaf was conducted from February to July 2024 at the Marine Chemistry and Fisheries Biotechnology Laboratory, Syiah Kuala University. This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolite compounds and LC50 value of Aedes aegypti larvicidal test of methanol extract of Pandanus tectorius leaf. There are 5 types of secondary metabolite compounds obtained from the methanol extract of Pandanus tectorius leaf, including alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, saponins, and tannins. The results of toxicity tests against Aedes aegypti larvae were carried out with a concentration ratio of 1000 ppm, 500 ppm, 250 ppm, 100 ppm and positive control. The test results show that Pandanus tectorius pandan laut leaf extract has a toxicity level with a toxic category, namely LC50 which is 314.430 ppm. Keywords: Pandan Laut Pandanus tectorius, Secondary metabolites, Larvicide, Aedes aegypti, LC50.
