Penelitian tentang kelimpahan fitoplankton berdasarkan waktu pada kawasan ekosistem mangrove di kota sabang. tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas fitoplankton berdasarkan waktu pengambilan meliputi kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dan dominansi fitoplankton di ekosistem mangrove kota sabang. penentuan stasiun dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu untuk menentukan perbedaan karakteristik stasiun dengan adanya aktivitas masyarakat sekitar dan perbedaan jenis mangrove. pengambilan sampel fitoplankton menggunakan metode ciduk, sampel diambil berdasarkan waktu pagi hari 08.00 – 10.00 wib, siang hari 12.00 – 14.00 wib, dan sore hari 16.00 – 18.00 wib. identifikasi fitoplankton dilakukan di laboratorium biologi fakultas kelautan dan perikanan, universitas syiah kuala. komposisi fitoplankton terdiri dari tujuh kelas yaitu bacillariophyceae, euglenoidea, cyanophyceae, zygnemophyceae, chlorophyceae, coscinodiscophyceae dan litostomata terdiri dari 33 spesies fitoplankton. komposisi jenis kelas bacillariophyceae berdasarkan waktu pengambilan pagi hari 75%, siang 75%, dan sore 74% yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian. kelimpahan fitoplankton berdasarkan waktu pengambilan dengan total keseluruhan pada pukul 08.00 – 10.00 wib sebesar 3.137.714,29 ind/l, sedangkan kelimpahan fitoplankton pada pukul 12.00 – 14.00 wib sebesar 3.019.755,10 ind/l, dan kelimpahan pada pukul 16.00 – 18.00 wib sebesar 1.958.122,4 ind/l. kata kunci : fitoplankton, kelimpahan, ekosistem mangrove, komposisi jenis, kota sabang



Abstract

Research on phytoplankton abundance based on time in mangrove ecosystem areas in Sabang City. The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure of the phytoplankton community based on the time of collection including abundance, diversity, uniformity, and dominance of phytoplankton in the mangrove ecosystem of Sabang City. Determination of stations is done by purposive sampling method to determine differences in station characteristics with the presence of surrounding community activities and differences in mangrove types. Phytoplankton sampling using the ciduk method, samples were taken based on the time of morning 08.00 - 10.00 am, noon 12.00 - 14.00 pm, and afternoon 16.00 - 18.00 pm. Phytoplankton identification was carried out in the biology laboratory of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. Phytoplankton composition consists of seven classes namely Bacillariophyceae, Euglenoidea, Cyanophyceae, Zygnemophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae and Litostomata consisting of 33 phytoplankton species. The species composition of Bacillariophyceae class based on morning collection time was 74%, afternoon 75%, and evening 74% found in the study site. The abundance of phytoplankton based on the retrieval time with a grand total at 08.00 - 10.00 am amounted to 3,137,714.29 ind/l, while the abundance of phytoplankton at 12.00 - 14.00 pm amounted to 3,019,755.10 ind/l, and the abundance at 16.00 - 18.00 pm amounted to 1,958,122.4 ind/l.
