Genre boy’s love merupakan istilah yang digunakan untuk jenis fiksi dengan alur yang menceritakan kisah cinta homoseksual antar laki-laki. persebaran dan kepopuleran genre ini kuat kaitannya dengan teknologi serta media massa. para penggemar genre boy’s love mengikat interaksi melalui forum-forum diskusi online seperti fanbase di twitter, interaksi yang dilakukan oleh penggemar itu sendiri meliputi diskusi mengenai tayangan boy’s love yang telah ditonton dan tak jarang opini yang diberikan merujuk kepada sikap toleransi terhadap lgbt. pembentukan sikap toleransi penggemar tersebut didasari oleh kognitif, afektif serta konatif yang mana dipengaruhi oleh seberapa tingkat intensitas menonton drama bergenre boy’s love itu sendiri seperti perhatian dan penghayatan yang dikerahkankan selama menonton serta berapa lama waktu yang di berikan untuk menonton tayangan drama boy’s love. penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui serta melihat pengaruh intensitas menonton drama bergenre boy’s love terhadap sikap toleransi kepada lgbt dan seberapa besar pengaruhnya berdasarkan dimensi intensitas menonton yaitu perhatian, penghayatan dan frekuensi yang dikaji menggunakan konsep toleransi dalam konteks sosiologi. metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan tipe eksplanatif dan dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. sebanyak 351 responden yang telah berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini berasal dari base @jodanspace dan merupakan penggemar drama bergenre boy’s love serta berumur 15 sampai 40 tahun. hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas menonton drama bergenre boy’s love terhadap sikap toleransi kepada lgbt berdasarkan pada hasil koefisien determinasi sebanyak 0,675 atau 67,5% dan hasil uji hipotesis menujukan variabel intensitas menonton drama bergenre boys love memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,007 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05, artinya h1 diterima dan h0 ditolak. kata kunci: boy’s love, toleransi, pengaruh, intensitas menonton, lgbt

The boy's love genre is a term used for a type of fiction with a plot that tells a homosexual love story between men. The spread and popularity of this genre is strongly related to technology and mass media. The fans of the boy's love genre bind interactions through online discussion forums such as fanbases on twitter, the interactions carried out by the fans themselves include the discussions about boy's love shows that they have been watched and often the opinions given refer to tolerance attitudes towards LGBT. The formation of tolerance attitudes of fans is based on cognitive, affective and conative which is influenced by how the intensity level of watching boy's love genre dramas itself such as attention and appreciation that is mobilized during watching and how much time is given to watching boy's love dramas. This study was conducted to determine and see the influence of the intensity of watching boy's love genre drama on tolerance attitudes towards LGBT and how much the influence based on the dimensions of viewing intensity, namely attention, appreciation and frequency studied using the concept of tolerance in a sociology context. The research method applied in this study is quantitative method with explanatory type and conducted by distributing questionnaires. A total of 351 respondents who have participated in this study come from the @jodanspace base and are fans of boy's love genre dramas and are aged 15 to 40 years. This study found results that indicate there is a significant influence between the intensity of watching boy's love genre dramas on tolerance attitudes towads LGBT based on the results of the coefficient determination of 0.675 or 67.5% and the hypothesis testing results indicate that the variable intensity of watching boy's love genre dramas has a significant value of 0.007 or smaller than 0.05, meaning that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
