Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kecemasan matematika pada siswa smp serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. metode yang digunakan adalah mixed method sequential explanatory. populasi terdiri dari empat smp negeri di banda aceh dengan total sampel sebanyak 114 siswa. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa smp negeri banda aceh mengalami kecemasan matematika pada tingkat sedang, dengan rata-rata 60%. faktor-faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhi kecemasan matematika termasuk gejala fisik seperti kesulitan bernafas, detak jantung cepat, dan sakit kepala. selain itu, terdapat korelasi yang kuat antara tingkat kecemasan matematika dan hasil remedial siswa, diukur dengan korelasi pearson sebesar 0.8. temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting terhadap perencanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dan menekankan perlunya perhatian pada kecemasan matematika siswa. kata kunci: kecemasan matematika, pembelajaran remedial, e-learning.

This research aims to examine the level of mathematics anxiety among junior high school students and the factors influencing it. The method used is a mixed-method sequential explanatory approach. The population consists of four state junior high schools in Banda Aceh with a total sample of 114 students. The results of the study indicate that junior high school students in Banda Aceh experience moderate levels of mathematics anxiety, averaging at 60%. Significant factors influencing mathematics anxiety include physical symptoms such as difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, and headaches. Additionally, there is a strong correlation between the level of mathematics anxiety and students' remedial outcomes, measured by a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.8. These findings have important implications for educational planning in school and emphasizing the need to address students' mathematics anxiety. Keywords: Math Anxiety, Remedial Learning, E-learning.
