Permasalahan yang terjadi pada kelas v yaitu hasil belajar ipas siswa yang masih rendah, salah satunya karena guru jarang menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat dan menarik dalam mengajar materi ipas khususnya sistem pencernaan manusia. oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya pembaharuan gaya belajar yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan meningkatkan hasil belajar ipas siswa khususnya materi sistem pencernaan manusia. maka, digunakanlah suatu model pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran read, answer, discuss, explain, and create (radec). penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran read, answer, discuss, explain, and create (radec) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas v sd negeri 29 banda aceh. pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis quasi experimental design berupa nonequivalent control group design. pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan kelas va (kelas eksperimen) berjumlah 29 siswa dan vb (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 28 siswa. instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes pilihan ganda 10 soal dan uraian 5 soal. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest, teknik analisis data berbantu spss uji-t independent sample test. hasil uji-t independent diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. maka kriteria pengambilan keputusan yaitu ha diterima dan ho ditolak. sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran read, answer, discuss, explain, and create (radec) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas v sd negeri 29 banda aceh kata kunci: model read, answer, discuss, explain, and create (radec), sistem pencernaan manusia, hasil belajar.

The problem that occurs in class V is that students' science and science learning outcomes are still low, one of which is because teachers rarely use appropriate and interesting learning models in teaching science and science material, especially the human digestive system. Therefore, it is necessary to renew learning styles that involve students actively and improve students' science learning outcomes, especially material on the human digestive system. So, a learning model was used in this research, namely the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model. This research aims to determine the effect of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model on student learning outcomes on human digestive system material in class V of SD Negeri 29 Banda Aceh. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach, a type of quasi experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling used a total sampling technique with class VA (experimental class) totaling 29 students and VB (control class) totaling 28 students. This research instrument is a multiple choice test with 10 questions and a description of 5 questions. The data collection technique uses tests in the form of pretest and posttest, data analysis techniques assisted by SPSS t-test independent sample test.
