[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan prof. dr. bahrun, m.pd dan siti naila fauzia, s.pd, m.pd penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mengembangkan komunikasi anak melalui metode show and tell di kelompok a tk bungong seulupok. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. subjek penelitian ini adalah dua guru kelas dari kelas a di tk bungong seulupok. objek penelitian ini anak yang komunikasinya sudah meningkat dan berkembang secara maksimal. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah melakuka upaya dalam mengembangkan komunikasi anak melalui metode show and tell di kelompok a tk bungong seulupok. adanya upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengembangkan komunikasi anak melalui metode show and tell adalah dengan guru melakukan persiapan sebelum memulai proses belajar mengajar, kemampuan komunikasi anak, melakukan evaluasi kemampuan komunikasi anak dengan cara memberikan apresiasi, dan melatih anak berkomunikasi. kata kunci : upaya guru, komunikasi, anak usia dini, metode show and tell

ABSTRACT Saufa Yura (2024). Teachers' Efforts to Develop Early Childhood Communication through the show and tell method in Group A of TK Bungong Seulupok. [Skripsi. Syiah Kuala University]. Under direction of Prof. Dr. Bahrun, M.Pd and Siti Naila Fauzia, S.Pd, M.Pd This research aims to find out and describe the teacher's efforts in developing children's communication through the show and tell method in group A of TK Bungong Seulupok. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this research consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were two class teachers from class A at TK Bungong Seulupok. The object of this research is children whose communication has improved and developed optimally. The results of the research show that teachers have made efforts to develop children's communication through the show and tell method in group A of TK Bungong Seulupok. The efforts made by teachers to develop children's communication through the show and tell method are by teachers making preparations before starting the teaching and learning process, children's communication skills, evaluating children's communication skills by giving appreciation, and training children to communicate.
