Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi curah hujan di provinsi aceh menggunakan metode kuadrat terkecil. data curah hujan bulanan dari stasiun meteorologi terpilih yang tercatat pada badan pusat statistik aceh digunakan untuk analisis. metode kuadrat terkecil diterapkan untuk menemukan hubungan matematis antara variabel suhu udara yang mempengaruhi curah hujan. langkah-langkah analisis data meliputi pemrosesan data, uji asumsi klasik, pemodelan, dan validasi model. hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pola curah hujan di provinsi aceh, serta membantu dalam perencanaan dan manajemen sumber daya air secara lebih efektif.

The purpose of this study is to use the least squares approach to create a rainfall forecast model for Aceh Province. For the analysis, monthly rainfall data from a meteorological site recorded by the Statistics of Aceh Province were employed. To determine the mathematical relation between the air temperature and the amount of rainfall, the least squares method is utilized. Data processing, classical assumption examination, modeling, and model validation are steps in data analysis. It is intended that the research findings would aid in better planning and management of water resources as well as a greater understanding of rainfall patterns in the Aceh Province.
