Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan aspek penting bagi perawat di dalam membantu pasien dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatannya baik secara fisik maupun psikologis pasien. komunikasi perawat yang tidak baik dapat berdampak buruk terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh perawat serta dapat menyebabkan menurunnya kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik perawat di rsud meuraxa kota banda aceh. jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif. populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu perawat kelas iii di rsud meuraxa kota banda aceh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 103 perawat. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi penerapan komunikasi terapeutik. data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisa univariat. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 52 perawat (50,5%) telah menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik, 43 perawat (41,7) telah menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik cukup baik dan sebanyak 6 perawat (5,8%) dalam kategori kurang. diharapkan rumah sakit dapat terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek penting di bidang asuhan keperawatan.

Therapeutic communication is an important aspect for nurses in helping patients overcome their health problems both physically and psychologically. Poor nurse communication can have a negative impact on the services provided by nurses and can lead to decreased patient satisfaction with the services provided. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of therapeutic communication of nurses at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh City. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were class III nurses at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh City using purposive sampling technique which amounted to 103 nurses. Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets of the application of therapeutic communication. The research data were analyzed using Univariate Analysis. The results showed that as many as 52 nurses (50.5%) had implemented therapeutic communication well, 43 nurses (41.7) had implemented therapeutic communication quite well and as many as 6 nurses (5.8%) were in the less category. It is expected that the hospital can continue to improve the quality of services provided by paying attention to important aspects in the field of nursing care.
