Abstrak pukat pantai (beach seine) merupakan salah satu alat tangkap yang potensial untuk melakukan pemanfaatan ikan demersal, oleh karena itu tidak sedikit masyarakat di daerah aceh barat daya yang menggunakannya. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan pukat pantai dan mengetahui pengaruh fase bulan terhadap hasil tangkapan pukat pantai. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan hijriah safar, rabiul awal, rabiul akhir tepatnya pada bulan masehi september, oktober dan november 2023. metode penelitian penulis menggunakan dua data, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder, untuk data primer pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan nelayan, sedangkan data skunder pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi literatur dan dokumentasi. analisis data menggunakan rumus proporsi untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan, uji anova dan uji beda nyata jujur (bnj) untuk mengetahui perbedaan perlakuan (fase bulan). hasil pengamatan dari penelitian ini adalah komposisi hasil tangkapan pukat pantai yang di dominasi oleh teri (370 kg) di urutan kedua adalah pepetek (272kg). pembagian fase bulan dikelompokkan menjadi 5 yaitu fase bulan sabit awal, fase bulan separuh awal, fase bulan purnama, fase bulan separuh akhir dan fase bulan sabit akhir yang di hitung selama 3 bulan mulai pada bulan september, oktober dan november meliputi bulan hijriah yaitu bulan safar, rabiul awal, rabiul akhir dan jumadil awal, untuk menguji hipotesisi apakah terdapat pengaruh fase bulan terhadap hasil tangkapan di gunakan uji anova dan berdasarkan hasil dari uji anova menunjukkan perlakuan, dalam hal ini fase bulan tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil tangkapan alat tangkap pukat pantai (di tolak h0), dapat di lihat dari nilai signifikannya (.993) > 0.05. kata kunci: fase bulan, pukat pantai, aceh barat daya.

ABSTRACT Beach seines are one of the potential fishing gears for utilizing demersal fish, therefore quite a few people in the Southwest Aceh area use them. The aim of this research is to determine the composition of beach seine catches and to determine the influence of lunar phases on beach seine catches. This research was carried out in the Hijri month of Safar, Rabiul Awal, Rabiul Akhir, precisely in the Gregorian months of September, October and November 2023. The author's research method used two data, namely primary data and secondary data, for primary data data collection was carried out by direct observation and interviews. with fishermen, while secondary data was collected by means of literature study and documentation. Data analysis used the proportion formula to determine the composition of the catch, anova test and honest significant difference (BNJ) test to determine differences in treatment (moon phase). The results of observations from this research are that the composition of the beach seine catch is dominated by anchovies (370 kg) in second place is pepetek (272kg). The division of the moon phases is grouped into 5, namely the early crescent moon phase, the early half moon phase, the full moon phase, the final half moon phase and the final crescent phase which is calculated for 3 months starting in September, October and November including the Hijri month, namely the month of Safar. , Rabiul Awal, Rabiul Akhir and Jumadil Awal, to test the hypothesis whether there is an influence of the moon phase on the catch, the ANOVA test was used and based on the results of the ANOVA test, it showed that the treatment, in this case the moon phase had no effect on the catch of beach seine fishing gear (in reject H0), can be seen from the significant value (.993) > 0.05.
