Pohon trembesi merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan penyusun vegetasi di hutan kota banda aceh yang mempunyai peran penting penyerap karbon dioksida, penyerap air terbesar, dan penghijauan tumbuhan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cadangan karbon yang tersimpan pada pohon trembesi dan kerapatan pohon trembesi di hutan kota banda aceh. penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode sensus dengan mengukur dan menghitung seluruh pohon trembesi. metode yang digunakan yaitu non-destructive sampling atau tanpa penebangan merupakan estimasi karbon tanpa merusak tumbuhan, dengan pengukuran berat kering biomassa pohon yang dihitung menggunakan allometric equation berdasarkan pada diameter setinggi dada. hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 396 individu pohon trembesi di 4 hutan kota banda aceh. nilai total keseluruhan potensi cadangan karbon tersimpan yang terdapat pada pohon trembesi di kawasan hutan kota banda aceh adalah sebesar 5.560 ton perhektar. hutan kota trembesi memiliki nilai kerapatan tertinggi mencapai 93,44 perhektar, sementara itu hutan kota putroe phang memiliki nilai kerapatan terendah mencapai 2,48 perhektar

The Trembesi tree is one of the plant species composing the vegetation in the urban forest of Banda Aceh, playing a crucial role as a carbon dioxide absorber, the largest water absorber, and a plant for reforestation. This research aims to determine the carbon reserves stored in Trembesi trees and the density of Trembesi trees in the urban forest of Banda Aceh. The study employed a census method by measuring and counting all Trembesi trees. The non-destructive sampling method, which estimates carbon without damaging plants, was used by measuring the dry weight biomass of trees calculated using an allometric equation based on breast height diameter.The results of the analysis revealed the presence of 396 Trembesi tree individuals in four urban forests in Banda Aceh. The total overall potential stored carbon reserves in Trembesi trees in the Banda Aceh urban forest area amounted to 5,560. The Trembesi Forest had the highest density value, reaching 93.44, while the Putroe Phang Forest had the lowest density value, reaching 2.48
