Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas xii ips 1 sma negeri 5 lhokseumawe. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas xii ips 1 sma negeri 5 lhokseumawe. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design berbentuk one group pretestposttest design. adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xii ips sma negeri 5 lhokseumawe tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang terdiri dari dua kelas. sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xii ips 1 sma negeri 5 lhokseumawe. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. sedangkan, teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan t-hitung = 11,901 dan t-tabel pada taraf α = 5% (0,05), dengan df= 17 adalah 2,110, berarti menunjukkan bahwa kriteria ui t-hitung > t-tabel atau 11,901 > 2,110 pada taraf signifikansi α = 5% (0,05), maka h0 ditolak dan ha diterima. hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas xii ips 1 di sma negeri 5 lhokseumawe

The problem in this research is the low learning achievement of students in history subjects in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on student learning achievement in history learning in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design type of research in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research is class XII IPS students at SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of two classes. The sample in this research were students of class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe. Data collection techniques in this research used tests and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use normality tests and hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the results of the hypothesis test were obtained using the paired sample t-test with t-count = 11.901 and t-table at the α = 5% (0.05) level, with df = 17 which is 2.110, meaning that it shows that ui criteria t-count > t-table or 11.901 > 2.110 at the significance level α = 5% (0.05), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results can be concluded that there is a significant influence on student learning achievement after using the flipped classroom learning model on student learning achievement in the history subject class XII IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe
