Name : Syifa Amalia Student No. : 1906102020021 Department/Program : English Education/Undergraduate Title : An Analysis of Moral Values In The Animated Movie “Ice Age: Continental Drift” The important thing we can learn from experience in life is moral values. Moral values can have a big impact on turning someone into a better person. This research is a qualitative study conducted to analyze the moral values in the animated movie "Ice Age: Continental Drift". The animated movie can focus kids' attention in a way that inspires them to learn and can support their independence in learning based on their aptitude and interests. The movie 'Ice Age: Continental Drift,' served as the primary source for data collection in this case. The study revealed 12 types of moral values with 36 found presented in the movie including honesty, courage, peaceability, self-reliance, discipline, fidelity, respect, love, loyalty, unselfishness, kindness, and mercy. The most frequently represented moral values in the animated movie were loyalty with 9 occurrences followed by respect with 5 occurrences, and unselfishness with 4 occurrences. While self-reliance, kindness, love, and honesty with 3 occurrences. On the other hand, courage with 2 occurrences, and peaceability, discipline, fidelity, and mercy were the least frequently portrayed moral values, each appearing only once.
