Nada farah andista purba, identifikasi miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan three tier test pada materi operasi bentuk aljabar kelas vii smp negeri 1 lhoksukon. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa kelas vii smp negeri 1 lhoksukon pada materi bentuk dan operasi aljabar untuk mengetahui penyebab miskonsepsi siswa kelas vii smp negeri 1 lhoksukon pada materi bentuk dan operasi aljabar. permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah miskonsepsi materi aljabar yang dialami oleh siswa. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas vii smp negeri 1 lhoksukon. teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes diagnostik three tier test, dan wawancara. teknik analisis data menggunakan 1) reduksi data, 2) penafsiran data, 3) dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) hasil three tier-test yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas vii, teridentifikasi siswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi aljabar dengan persentase 50% dari 26 siswa. miskonsepsi mayoritas terjadi pada semua materi aljabar yaitu konsep aljabar, unsur-unsur aljabar, operasi penjumlahan, operasi pengurangan, operasi perkalian dan operasi pembagian, pemangkatan, serta penjumlahan campuran, 2) faktor-faktor penyebab miskonsepsi siswa kelas vii smp negeri 1 lhoksukon adalah kurangnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep operasi bentuk aljabar, kurangnya minat siswa untuk mengikuti pembelajaran yang mereka anggap sulit, dan kurangnya pengulangan materi siswa serta pemahaman konsepsi awal siswa juga mempengaruhi terjadinya miskonsepsi. kata kunci: miskonsepsi, three tier test, aljabar

Nada Farah Andista Purba, Identifikasi Miskonsepsi Siswa Menggunakan Three Tier Test Pada Materi Operasi Bentuk Aljabar Kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Lhoksukon. This study aims to find out the misconceptions experienced by class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lhoksukon on the material of algebraic forms and operations to find out the causes of the misconceptions of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lhoksukon on the material of algebraic forms and operations. The problems studied in this study were students' misconceptions about algebraic material. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lhoksukon. Data collection techniques in this study were three tier diagnostic tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques use 1) data reduction, 2) data interpretation, 3) and conclusion drawing. The results showed that 1) the results of the three tier-test given to class VII students identified students with misconceptions about algebra material with a percentage of 50% of the 26 students. The majority of misconceptions occur in all algebraic materials, namely algebraic concepts, algebraic elements, addition operations, subtraction operations, multiplication operations and division operations, rank and mixed addition, 2) the factors that cause misconceptions in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lhoksukon are lack of the ability to understand the concept of operating algebraic forms, the lack of interest of students to take part in learning that they find difficult, and the lack of repetition of student material and understanding of students' initial conceptions also affect the occurrence of misconceptions.
