Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kompensasi finansial, penilaian kinerja, dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru pada sekolah menengah tingkat atas di kota banda aceh. penelitian dilaksanakan di sekolah menengah tingkat atas di kota banda aceh. populasi penelitian ini adalah perwakilan dua orang guru pada 30 sekolah menengah tingkat atas yang terdiri dari 19 sekolah menengah atas, 6 sekolah menengah kejuruan, 3 madrasah aliyah negeri, dan 2 dayah terpadu. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi. data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara. data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) hasil perhitungan kuantitatif, kompensasi finansial dan kompetensi guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, namun penilaian kinerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah tingkat atas di kota banda aceh. terdapat pengaruh kompensasi finansial dan kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah tingkat atas di kota banda aceh. kompensasi finansial tidak terdapat pengaruh metode penilaian kinerja terhadap kinerja guru sekolah menengah tingkat atas di kota banda aceh. 2) secara kualitatif, hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah diperoleh bahwa kompensasi finansial dan kompetensi guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. penilaian kinerja guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru jika ada feedback dan pengawasan dari kepala sekolah. faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru menurut kepala sekolah adalah faktor internal dan eksternal, yaitu motivasi dan karakter guru, yang didukung oleh pimpinan dan lingkungan kerja. kata kunci: kompensasi finansial, penilaian kinerja, kompetensi, kinerja guru



Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial compensation, performance assessment, and competency on teacher performance in senior secondary schools in Banda Aceh City. The research was carried out at high school in Banda Aceh City. The population of this research is representatives of two teachers at 30 senior secondary schools consisting of 19 Senior High Schools, 6 Vocational High Schools, 3 State Madrasah Aliyah, and 2 Integrated Dayah. This research uses a combination method. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The data is then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results showed that 1) The results of quantitative calculations, financial compensation and teacher competency together had an effect on teacher performance, but performance assessment had no effect on the performance of high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. There is an influence of financial compensation and teacher competency on the performance of high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. There is no influence of financial compensation on performance assessment methods on the performance of high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. 2) Qualitatively, the results of interviews with school principals show that financial compensation and teacher competency influence teacher performance. Teacher performance assessment affects teacher performance if there is feedback and supervision from the school principal. Other factors that influence teacher performance according to school principals are internal and external factors, namely teacher motivation and character, which are supported by leadership and the work environment.
