Tanaman kopi robusta merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak tumbuh di daerah aceh tengah dan belum banyak dimanfaatkan. penelitian membuktikan bahwa tanaman kopi robusta pada daunnya memiliki banyak aktivitas farmakologi, salah satunya sebagai antioksidan. senyawa metabolit sekunder yang diduga memiliki aktivitas antioksidan adalah rutin dan flavonol. eye mask hydrogel merupakan salah satu bentuk sediaan kosmetik yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan kulit seperti keriput, kantung mata, dan lingkaran hitam dibawah mata. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan fraksi etil asetat daun kopi robusta dan memformulasikannya menjadi sediaan eye mask hydrogel. berdasarkan hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode dpph, fraksi etil asetat daun kopi robusta memiliki aktivitas antioksidan kategori sangat kuat, yaitu 7,305 µg/ml. hasil evaluasi sediaan eye mask hydrogel fraksi etil asetat daun kopi robusta memenuhi semua kriteria evaluasi. hasil uji iritasi sediaan tidak menunjukkan adanya tanda-tanda iritasi sehingga sediaan eye mask hydrogel yang dihasilkan relatif aman digunakan. sediaan disukai untuk parameter bentuk warna dan aroma. oleh karena itu, fraksi etil asetat daun kopi robusta dapat diformulasikan menjadi bentuk sediaan eye mask hydrogel yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan alami. kata kunci: antioksidan, kopi robusta, fraksi etil asetat daun kopi robusta, eye maskhydrogel

The robusta coffee plant is one of the plants that grows widely in the Central Aceh area and is not widely used. Research shows that the leaves of the Robusta coffee plant have many pharmacological activities, one of which is as an antioxidant. Secondary metabolite compounds that are thought to have antioxidant activity are routine and flavonols. Hydrogel eye mask is a form of cosmetic preparation that can treat skin problems such as wrinkles, eye bags and dark circles under the eyes. This research aims to determine the antioxidant activity of the ethyl acetate fraction of robusta coffee leaves and formulate it into a hydrogel eye mask preparation. Based on the results of antioxidant activity tests using the DPPH method, the ethyl acetate fraction of robusta coffee leaves has very strong antioxidant activity, namely 7.305 µg/mL. The evaluation results of the hydrogel eye mask preparation from the ethyl acetate fraction of robusta coffee leaves met all the evaluation criteria. The results of the preparation irritation test did not show any signs of irritation so the resulting hydrogel eye mask preparation was relatively safe to use. The preparation is preferred for the parameters of color form and aroma. Therefore, the ethyl acetate fraction of robusta coffee leaves can be formulated into a hydrogel eye mask dosage form which has the potential to act as a natural antioxidant.
