Pola diet pada lansia diabetes mellitus dengan multiple morbidity sering menjadi parah diakibatkan karena penurunan sistem pencernaan dan insulin ditandai dengan sering buang air kecil, cepat merasa lapar, sering merasa haus, dan lain-lain. tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pola diet pada lansia diabetes mellitus dengan multiple morbidity di kecamatan baiturrahman. penelitian ini adalah penelitian cross sectional. jumlah sampel sebanyak 278 lansia diabetes mellitus dengan multiple morbidity yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner pola diet. hasil penelitian pola diet kategori sehat terdapat pada kelompok makanan seperti sayur (61,5%), kue manis (71,9%), permen/coklat (79,5%), minuman manis (55,4%), mentega (96,1%), keju (91,4%), daging olahan (66,2%), cemilan asin (63,3%), agar-agar (86,6%), alcohol (100%), ikan (79,9%), makan 3x sehari (92,8%), sarapan (85,6%), cemilan tinggi lemak (60,4%), oat (63,6%) dan susu (94,2%). sedangkan kategori kurang sehat seperti buah-buahan (59,0%), gorengan (76,2%) dan makanan cepat saji (55,7%) serta kategori tidak sehat terdapat pada roti gandum (61,5%). kesimpulan penelitian adalah dari 20 jenis makanan terdapat 16 diantaranya berada pada kategori sehat. direkomendasi kepada petugas kesehatan puskesmas untuk selalu diperhatikan kesehatan lansia diabetes mellitus agar terhindar dari komplikasi.



Abstract

The diet pattern in elderly diabetes mellitus with multiple morbidities often becomes severe due to a decline in the digestive system and insulin, characterized by frequent urination, quickly feeling hungry, often feeling thirsty, and so on. The research aimed to determine the dietary patterns in with diabetes mellitus with multiple morbidities in the Baiturrahman District. This study was a cross-sectional research. The sample size was 278 elderly individuals with diabetes mellitus with multiple morbidities, selected using purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study employed a diet pattern questionnaire. The research findings indicated that healthy dietary patterns were present in food groups such as vegetables (61.5%), sweet cakes (71.9%), candy/chocolate (79.5%), sweet drinks (55.4%), butter (96.1%), cheese (91.4%), processed meat (66.2%), salty snacks (63.3%), jelly (86.6%), alcohol (100%), fish (79.9%), eating three times a day (92.8%), breakfast (85.6%), high-fat snacks (60.4%), oats (63.6%), and milk (94.2%). Meanwhile, less healthy categories included fruits (59.0%), fried foods (76.2%), and fast food (55.7%), In conclusion, out of the 20 types of food studied, 16 of them were categorized as healthy. It is recommended to health center personnel to always pay attention to the health of elderly individuals with diabetes mellitus to prevent complications.
