Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai kepemimpinan yang ada dalam hikayat pocut muhammad. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. sumber data adalah hikayat pocut muhammad karangan tgk. lam rukam. data dalam penelitian ini berupa bait hikayat yang mengandung bentuk nilai kepemimpinan. teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tinjauan pustaka. berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 6 nilai kepemimpinan yaitu 1) nilai integritas dan moralitas, sosok pocut muhammad begitu tinggi nilai inntegritas dan moralitasnya, sehingga sosok pocut muhammad sangat peduli akan masyarakat aceh saat itu. 2) nilai tanggung jawab, bagaimana sosok pocut muhammad menerima konsekuensi apapun dari setiap keputusan yang iya ambil. 3) nilai kemampuan berkomunikasi, sosok pocut muhammad begitu bagus tutur bahasanya dalam menyampaikan sesuatu diumurnya yang ke dua puluh tahun. 4) nilai keteldanan, dari tutur bahasnya yang baik membuat sosok pocut muhammad menjadi teladan bagi seluruh pemimpin dan masyarakat pada saat tu, bagaimana iya dalam bertingkahlaku dengan yang umurnya lebih tua dari pada pocut muhammad. 5) nilai kebijaksanaan, sosok pocut muhammad sangat bijaksana dalam memberikan segala keputusan, segala keputusannya demi kebaikan bersama bukan demi dirinya pribadi. dan 6) nilai menjaga kehormatan, sosok pocut muhammad begitu dihormati dan juga disegani dalam hal apapun. segala keputusannya tidak diambil atas kepentingan pribadinya, melainkan untuk selruh masyarakat kerajaan aceh darussalam saat itu sehingga sosok pocut muhammad menjadi contoh pemimpin yang di idam-idamkan oleh seluruh masyarakatnya. kata kunci: nilai kepemimpinan, hikayat pocut muhammad

This research aims to describe the value of leadership in Hikayat Pocut Muhammad. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data source is Hikayat Pocut Muhammad by Tgk. Lam Rukam. The data in this study are in the form of hikayat stanzas that contain forms of leadership values. Data collection technique in this research is literature review technique. Based on the results of the study found 6 leadership values, namely 1) the value of integrity and morality, the figure of Pocut Muhammad is so high in the value of integrity and morality, so that the figure of Pocut Muhammad was very concerned about the people of Aceh at that time. 2) the value of responsibility, how the figure of Pocut Muhammad accepts any consequences of every decision he makes. 3) the value of communication skills, the figure of Pocut Muhammad was so good in his speech in conveying something at his age of twenty years. 4) the value of keteldanan, from his good speech makes the figure of Pocut Muhammad an example for all leaders and the community at the time, how he behaved with those who were older than Pocut Muhammad. 5) the value of wisdom, the figure of Pocut Muhammad is very wise in giving all decisions, all his decisions are for the common good not for himself personally. and 6) the value of maintaining honor, the figure of Pocut Muhammad is so respected and also respected in any case. All his decisions were not taken for his personal interests, but for the entire community of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam at that time so that the figure of Pocut Muhammad became an example of a leader who was coveted by all his people.
