Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena adanya permasalahan yaitu siswa tidak berani menjawab dan mengajukan pertanyaan, kemudian tidak berani memberikan pendapat ketika diskusi, dan siswa tidak mencatat penjelasan guru serta hasil diskusi, dan beberapa siswa kurangnya berpartisipasi dalam memperhatikan dan mendengarkan penjelasan guru sehingga proses belajar mengajar kurang maksimal sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick berbantuan media wordwall terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa ips kelas viii smpn 1 wih pesam. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen berbentuk post-test only kontrol design yang terdapat kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. populasi dalam penelitian seluruh siswa kelas viii yang berjumlah 4 kelas. sampel pada penelitian kelas viii3 dan viii4 berjumlah 50 orang. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi dan kuesioner. hasil penelitian penerapan model pembelajaran talking stick berbantuan media wordwall terhadap keaktifan belajar pada mata pelajaran ips dilakukan sesuai rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (rpp). berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan keaktifan belajar siswa ips pada kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai berjumlah 78 persen dengan standard skor maksimal 100 dan minimal 20 dengan kecenderungan 78 lebih besar 50+10= 78 lebih besar 60 dan masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. berbeda halnya dengan tingkat keaktifan belajar ips siswa kelas kontrol yang mendapat nilai berjumlah 42 kecenderungan yaitu 50 besar 42 lebih besar 50 -1.10 = 50 besar 42 besar 40 yang termasuk pada kategori rendah. dengan demikian, maka penggunaan model pembelajaran talking stick berbantuan media wordwall. berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas vii smpn 1 wih pesam kata kunci: talking stick, wordwall, keaktifan



Abstract

This research was motivated by a problem, namely that students did not dare to answer and ask questions, then don't dare to give opinions during discussions, and students do not record the teacher's explanation and the results of the discussion, and some students lack of participation in paying attention and listening to the teacher's explanation so that the teaching and learning process is less than optimal so this research aims to determine the effect of learning models Talking Stick Assisted by Wordwall Media on Social Studies Students' Learning Activeness Class VIII SMPN 1 Wih Pesam. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research in the form of a Post-test Only Control Design there are control and experimental groups. The population in the research were all students class VIII which consists of 4 classes. Samples in research classes VIII3 and VIII4 totaling 50 people. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaire. Results of research on the application of the assisted talking stick learning model wordwall media on active learning in social studies subjects is carried out accordingly Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). Based on the results of data analysis shows that the active learning of social studies students in the experimental class gets a score totaling 78 percent with a maximum standard score of 100 and a minimum of 20 the tendency is that 78 is greater than 50+10= 78 is greater than 60 and is in the very high category. This is different from the level of active social studies learning of control class students got a score totaling 42 tendencies, namely 50 is greater 42 is greater 50 -1.10 = 50 is greater 42 is greater 40 which is included in the low category.
