Wajah manusia adalah salah satu bagian tubuh yang paling dominan untuk membedakan identitas satu sama lain. bentuk wajah dipengaruhi oleh jenis kelamin, ras, suku, iklim, sosial ekonomi, gizi dan faktor genetik. untuk mengetahui tipe wajah seseorang, dapat dilakukan pengukuran antropometri wajah. antropometri wajah dikenal sebagai ilmu yang mengukur dan menganalisis proporsi wajah manusia dan memberikan informasi penting tentang perbedaan bentuk dan ukuran berbagai ras, usia, dan jenis kelamin. setelah didapatkan data antropometri wajah, kita dapat mengetahui tipe wajah seseorang dengan rumus indeks fasial. indeks fasial adalah perbandingan antara tinggi wajah dengan lebar wajah dan dikalikan dengan 100. penelitian ini dilakukan di fakultas kedokteran universitas syiah kuala dengan total 64 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 32 orang suku aceh dan 32 orang suku minang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi pada tanggal 30 agustus 2023. jenis penelitin ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan analisis univariat. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tipe wajah suku aceh adalah leptoprosopic sebanyak 14 orang (43,75%) dan tipe wajah suku minang adalah leptoprosopic sebanyak 13 orang (40,6%).

The human face is one of the most dominant parts of the body to differentiate one's identity. Facial shape is influenced by gender, race, ethnicity, climate, socioeconomic, nutritional and genetic factors. To find out a person's facial type, facial anthropometric measurements can be taken. Facial anthropometry is known as the science that measures and analyzes the proportions of the human face and provides important information about the differences in shape and size of various races, ages and genders. After obtaining facial anthropometric data, we can find out a person's facial type using the facial index formula. The facial index is the ratio between facial height and facial width and multiplied by 100. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University with a total of 64 research subjects consisting of 32 Acehnese and 32 Minangnese who met the inclusion criteria on August 30 2023 This type of research is analytical descriptive with univariate analysis. The results of this study show that the face type of the Acehnese is leptoprosopic as many as 14 people (43.75%) and the facial type of the Minangnese is leptoprosopic as many as 13 people (40.6%).
