Fluor albus is a general term for excessive discharge, in addition to blood, from the birth canal or the vagina. the color can be clear, white, yellowish, greenish, brown, gray, and turbid. i is sometimes smelly and itchy. the most frequent cause of vaginal discharge is fungi, bacteria, parasites, and seldom viruses. teenager is one of the populations who potential has the vaginal discharge, needing special attention. the teenager will experience puberty known by the arrival menstruation and be preceded by having the vaginal discharge. the sufficient knowldege about the vagina discharge can change perceptions and habits of teenager. the purpose of this research was to know the description of knowledge of teenage girls' studying at state senior high school 2 of banda aceh about fluor albus in 2012. the method used in this research was descriptive method by stratified random sampling approach. from the data results of research on 89 respondents collected by using questionnaire, ii was obtained that the knowledge of the teenage girls about fluor albus was in good category,66.3%; knowledge about fluor albus meaning in good category, 55.1%: knowledge about cause of fluor albus in good category, 61.8%; knowledge about the prevention and impact of fluor albus in good category as well, 59.6% and 56.2% respectively. based on the result of the results, it is recommended that the parents optimize their roles on the teenage girls by providing knowledge about reproductive health, thus the teenage girls will not obtain wrong information. to school party, it is hoped that the reproductive health should be added as a subject studied, so the teenagers will obtain the right information about caring of reproductive organ. keyworde: knowledge, teenage girls, fluor albus
