Farah Diana, PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN CHEMOENTREPRENEURSHIP MELALUI MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN SOFT SKILL PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 5 BANDA ACEH. Banda Aceh Prog.Studi Magister Pendidikan IPA,2023

Abstract

The engaging teaching style for chemistry may boost the student's motivation for their studies and soft skills. Through the PjBL model of learning motivation and soft skills in experimental and control courses, this study aims to understand the differences between chemoentrepreneurship techniques. The research methodology is semi-experimental. Students from the experimental class, Natural Science three 11th, and the control class, Natural Science five 11th, both in the eleventh grade, both had normal distributions with the same variance. The learning motivation and soft skill surveys are the research's tools. The N-gain value of learning motivation in the experimental class and control class was obtained at 0.68 and 0.40 (medium), while the N-gain value of soft skills was obtained at 0.63 (medium) and 0.28 (low). Students in the experimental class and control class showed substantially different outcomes when the learning motivation hypothesis was tested, indicating that the CEP-based PjBL model can boost students' drive to study. The percentage of learning motivation and soft skills in the experimental class with an average posttest of 84.68% and 80.54% (high), while in the control class with an average posttest of 73.53% and 68.33% (medium). The conclusion in this study is that the application of CEP-based PjBL there are differences in learning motivation and soft skills in experimental and control classes. The findings demonstrate that the CEP-based PjBL model may enhance soft skills and learning motivation more effectively than the control group.
