Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja terhadap komitmen pekerjaan melalui kepuasan pada pegawai pt. aceh media grafika. data diperoleh melalui survey terhadap 70 karyawan sebagai sampel yang mewakili populasi penelitian dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data. metode cluster random sampling digunakan sebagai teknik penentuan sampel. statistical product and service solutions (spss) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variable-variabel yang terlibat. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen kerja. lalu karakteristik pekerjaan dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen kerja. serta hasil penelitian ini juga didapatkan bahwa kepuasan kerja memediasi hubungan karakteristik pekerjaan dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja terhadap komitmen kerja pada karyawan pt. aceh media grafika banda aceh. kata kunci: komitmen pekerjaan, karakteristik pekerjaan, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, kepuasan kerja

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics and work-life balance on work commitment through employee satisfaction at PT. Aceh Media Graphics. Data were obtained through a survey of 70 employees as a sample representing the study population and using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The cluster random sampling method was used as a sample purchasing technique. The statistical product and service solution (SPSS) is used as an analytical method to determine the influence of the variables involved. The results showed that job characteristics, work-life balance have a positive effect on work commitment. Then the features of work and work-life balance have a positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive effect on work commitment. And the results of this study also found that job satisfaction moderates the relationship between job characteristics and work-life balance on work commitment among employees of PT.
