Prarancangan pabrik natrium nitrat menggunakan bahan baku natrium karbonat dan asam nitrat. natrium karbonat diperoleh dari dalian chem. ind. corp. liaoning, china, sementara itu asam nitrat diperoleh dari pt. multi nitrotama kimia. pabrik ini beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun dengan kapasitas produksi 19.000 ton/tahun. perseroan terbatas (pt) adalah bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan struktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 103 orang. lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di dusun dawuan tengah, kecamatan cikampek, kabupaten karawang, jawa barat dengan luas tanah 20.050 m2 . kebutuhan air untuk pabrik ini sebesar 39.081,93 kg/jam yang diperoleh dari sungai citarum. sumber listrik diperoleh dari perusahaan listrik negara (pln) dan generator dengan daya 1.099,27 kw. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp. 237.708.911.055,- 2. working capital investment (wci) = rp. 41.948.631.363,- 3. total capital investment (tci) = rp. 279.657.542.417,- 4. total production cost (tpc) = rp. 383.799.939.363,- 5. sales cost (sc) = rp. 489.517.178.044,- 6. laba bersih = rp. 79.287.929.011,- 7. pay out time (pot) = 4,3 tahun 8. break event point (bep) = 42 % 9. internal rate of return (irr) = 24,1 %

The design of the Sodium Nitrate plant uses sodium carbonate and nitric acid as raw materials. Sodium carbonate was obtained from Dalian Chem. Ind. Corp. Liaoning, China, meanwhile nitric acid was obtained from PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia. This factory operates for 330 days/year with a production capacity of 19.000 tons/year. Limited Liability Company (PT) is a planned form of company using a line and staff structure. The workforce needed to run this company is 103 people. The factory is planned to be built in Dusun Dawuan Tengah, Cikampek District, Karawang Regency, West Java with a land area of 20.050 m2. The water requirement for this factory is 39,081.93 kg/hour which is obtained from the Citarum river. The source of electricity is obtained from the State Electricity Company (PLN) and a generator with a power of 1,099.27 kW. The economic analysis results obtained are as follows: 1.
