Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran aktif tipe team quiz berbantuan media bagan pohon (tree chart) dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran serta media pembelajaran terhadap keaktifan siswa pada materi kerajaan hindu-budha di nusantara. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan angket. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas x mia 1 man 6 aceh besar yang berjumlah 23 siswa. hasil penelitian dari observasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat permasalahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu guru jarang menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran dan kurangnya keterlibatan serta keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang berlangsung. oleh karena itu, peneliti menetapkan bahwa model pembelajaran aktif tipe team quiz berbantuan media bagan pohon (tree chart) sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. sedangkan hasil dari respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran aktif tipe team quiz berbantuan media bagan pohon (tree chart) menujukkan bahwa 71,44% kegiatan pembelajaran dapat dikategorikan berjalan dengan baik. hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil evaluasi siswa yaitu sebanyak 21 orang siswa memperoleh nilai di atas kkm, sedangkan siswa yang memiliki nilai di bawah kkm sebanyak 2 orang siswa. hal ini membuktikan bahwa 91% siswa sudah mendapat nilai di atas kkm, sedangkan 9% siswa lainnya memiliki nilai dibawah kkm.

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the application of the team quiz type active learning model assisted by tree chart media and students' responses to the application of the learning model and learning media to student activity in the Hindu-Buddhist Kingdom material in the archipelago. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, while the instruments used in collecting research data use observation sheets and questionnaires. The subjects in this research were 23 students of class X MIA 1 MAN 6 Aceh Besar. The results of research from observations show that there are problems in learning activities, namely teachers rarely use learning models and media and there is a lack of student involvement and activeness in ongoing learning activities. Therefore, the researchers determined that the team quiz type active learning model assisted by tree chart media was one way to overcome this problem. Meanwhile, the results of student responses to the application of the team quiz type active learning model assisted by tree chart media show that 71.44% of learning activities can be categorized as going well. This can be seen from the results of student evaluations, namely that 21 students scored above the KKM, while 2 students scored below the KKM. This proves that 91% of students have scored above the KKM, while the other 9% of students have scored below the KKM.
