Sampah menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang masih belum terselesaikan dan telah menjadi isu global, aktivitas perikanan menjadi salah satu penyebab penambahan jumlah sampah. maka dari itu, telah dilakukan penelitian tentang komposisi sampah anorganik dari aktivitas penangkapan ikan di pelabuhan perikanan samudera (pps) kutaraja lampulo, aceh. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung dan memilah komposisi sampah anorganik, mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi penambahan jumlah sampah, dan mengetahui estimasi jumlah sampah bulanan berdasarkan unit penangkapan. pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak 50 sampel di bulan maret – mei 2023 dengan melakukan wawancara bersama nelayan. sampel kapal yang diambil yaitu kapal purse seine 50 gt, kapal pancing

Garbage is one of the problems that is still unresolved and has become a global issue, fishing activity is one of the reasons for the increase in the amount of waste. Therefore, research has been carried out on the composition of inorganic waste from fishing activities at the Kutaraja Lampulo Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS), Aceh. The purpose of this study was to calculate and sort the composition of inorganic waste, determine the factors that influence the increase in the amount of waste, and determine the estimated monthly amount of waste based on fishing units.
