Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh locus of control dan risk taking propensity terhadap entrepreneurial intention yang dimediasi oleh innovativeness pada mahasiswa universitas syiah kuala. data diperoleh melalui survey tahadap 258 orang sebagai sampel yang mewakili populasi penelitian dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data. teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan jenis stratified random sampling. structural equation modelling (sem) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel-variabel yang terlibat. hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa locus of control dan risk taking propensity secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap entrepreneurial intention. hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa innovativeness mampu memediasi secara parsial pengaruh locus of control dan risk taking propensity terhadap entrepreneurial intention. kata kunci: locus of control, risk taking propensity, entrepreneurial intention, innovativeness

ABSTRACT This research aims to measure the effect of locus of control and risk taking propensity of entrepreneurial intention mediated by innovativeness in students of the Syiah Kuala University. Data were collected throught a survey of 258 respondents as sample to represent the research populating technique used in this research was probability sampling by type stratified random sampling. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used as analytical method to determine the effect between the variabels involved. The results of the study found that locus of control and risk taking propensity significantly affect entrepreneurial intention. However, The results found a innovativeness was able to partially mediates the effect of locus of control and risk taking propensity to entrepreneurial intention.
