Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk cinta untuk mendeskripsikan representasi bentuk cinta dan teknik penyampaiannya dalam novel melodylan 2 karya asriaci (2020). penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. data berupa narasi dan dialog antartokoh yang dipaparkan oleh pengarang. data bersumber pada novel melodylan 2 karya asriaci (2020). teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik telaah isi dokumen. analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. hasil analisis memperlihatkan tujuh bentuk cinta dalam novel ini, yaitu liking, infatuated love, empty love, romantic love, companionate love, fatous love, dan consummate love. teknik penyampaian representasi bentuk cinta disampaikan secara langsung dan tidak langsung. penyampain secara langsung ditunjukkan dengan jelas melalui uraian atau penjelasan, seperti narasi atau percakapan. penyampaian secara tidak langsung ditunjukkan tersirat atau tidak serta merta dan memerlukan penafsiran dan pemahaman yang tinggi. dengan demikian, asriaci melalui novel melodylan 2 karya asriaci telah membuktikan ketujuh bentuk cinta berdasarkan teori sternberg dan teknik representasinya. kata kunci: bentuk cinta, representasi, melodylan 2, asriaci

This study examines the form of love to describe the representation of the form of love and its delivery technique in the novel Melodylan 2 by Asriaci (2020). This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data is in the form of narration and dialog between characters described by the author. The data comes from the novel Melodylan 2 by Asriaci (2020). Data collection techniques use document content review techniques. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques. The analysis shows seven forms of love in this novel, namely liking, infatuated love, empty love, romantic love, companionate love, fatous love, and consummate love. The technique of conveying the representation of love forms is conveyed directly and indirectly. Direct delivery is shown clearly through description or explanation, such as narration or conversation. Indirect delivery is implied or not immediately and requires a high degree of interpretation and understanding. Thus, Asriaci through the novel Melodylan 2 has proven the seven forms of love based on Sternberg's theory and its representation techniques.
