Dwy lestari (2023). kemampuan representasi matematis dan self confidence melalui penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra pada materi limit fungsi di sma. kemampuan representasi matematis adalah kemampuan siswa dalam mengkomunikasikan ide atau gagasan matematis dengan berbagai cara. kemampuan representasi matematis berperan dalam membantu pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi matematis. rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis seorang siswa dikarenakan rendahnya self confidence siswa. siswa yang memiliki sifat tingkat self confidence tinggi akan mampu mengeluarkan ide atau gagasannya. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan melalui model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra; (2) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan level siswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa; (3) peningkatan self confidence siswa yang diajarkan melalui model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra; (4) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan level siswa terhadap peningkatan self confidence siswa. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-postest control group. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi sma n1 darul makmur dengan jumlah 163 siswa. pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling terpilih 100 orang siswa dengan kelas xi ipa 1 dan xi ips 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas xi ipa 2 dan xi ips 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument tes dan angket self confidence. analisis data menggunakan uji anava. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran melalui penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra; (2) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan level siswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa; (3) terdapat peningkatan self confidence siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran melalui penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan geogebra; (4) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan level siswa terhadap self confidence siswa. kata kunci: geogebra, kemampuan representasi matematis, model discovery learning, self confidence.



Abstract

Dwy Lestari (2023). Mathematical Representation Ability and Confidence through the Application of the Geogebra Assisted Discovery Learning Model to the Material Limit Functions in High School. Mathematical representation ability is a student's ability in communicate mathematical ideas or thoughts in various ways. Ability Mathematical representation plays a role in helping problem solving and mathematical communication. Low ability of a person's mathematical representation students due to low self-confidence of students. Students who have traits A high level of self-confidence will be able to express ideas or concepts. This research aims to find out: (1) increasing representation abilities students' mathematics taught through the assisted Discovery Learning model geogebra; (2) interaction between learning models and student level increasing students' mathematical representation abilities; (3) self-improvement student self-confidence taught through the assisted Discovery Learning model geogebra; (4) interaction between the learning model and student level increasing students' self-confidence. This research is quantitative research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is all class XI students of SMA N1 Darul Makmur with a total of 163 students. Election The sample using simple random sampling technique selected 100 students with classes XI IPA 1 and XI IPS 2 as experimental classes, class XI IPA 2 and XI IPS 1 as a control class. Data collection techniques use instruments self-confidence tests and questionnaires. Data analysis used the ANOVA test. Results The analysis shows that: (1) there is an increase in representation ability mathematical students who gain learning through the application of the Discovery model geogebra assisted learning; (2) there is no interaction between learning models with student level towards increasing students' mathematical representation abilities; (3) there is an increase in the self-confidence of students who receive learning through the application of the geogebra-assisted discovery learning model; (4) does not exist interaction between the learning model and the student's level of self-confidence student.
