Pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan dampak signifikan dalam hidup manusia seperti kesehatan, ekonomi, dan psikis. sebuah penelitian mengatakan penduduk indonesia mengalami rasa cemas dan depresi yang tinggi pada masa pandemi covid-19. meskipun status darurat pandemi telah dicabut, dampak yang ditimbulkan masih ada hingga saat ini, sehingga memicu perempuan menjadikan rokok sebagai pelarian. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana perubahan perilaku merokok perempuan di kota banda aceh pada masa sebelum, selama dan setelah pandemi. penelitian ini berlandaskan teori perubahan perilaku oleh lawrance green, terdapat faktor predisposisi, pemungkin serta penguat yang memengaruhi perubahan perilaku. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan retrospektif pada lima orang informan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan bahaya merokok tidak memengaruhi sikap dan tindakan berhenti merokok, terutama pada masa pandemi. sebelum pandemi, dari lima orang informan, hanya tiga informan yang aktif menggunakan rokok konvensional, satu informan menggunakan rokok elektrik dan satu merupakan perokok pasif. saat pandemi, pemberlakuan pembatasan sosial menyebabkan pengurangan jumlah batang rokok dikarenakan tidak dapat keluar rumah. setelah pandemi, seluruh informan mengaku mengonsumsi ganda rokok. informan merokok karena faktor pendukung, mudahnya akses dalam membeli rokok, terlebih pada masa pandemi informan membeli rokok elektrik secara online. faktor penguat informan merokok karena teman dan keluarga merokok serta adanya iklan yang menginformasikan rasa baru pada rokok. saran penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya perempuan perokok untuk berhenti merokok karena perempuan merupakan madrasah utama bagi generasi yang sehat serta paparan asap rokok yang dikonsumsi perokok juga membahayakan orang yang menghirupnya.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant impacts on human lives, including health, economy, and psychology. A study indicates that the population in Indonesia has experienced high levels of anxiety and depression during the pandemic. Despite the lifting of the pandemic emergency status, the lingering effects continue to persist, prompting some women to turn to smoking as a coping mechanism. The aim of this research is to investigate the changes in smoking behavior among women in the city of Banda Aceh during the pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic periods. This study is based on Lawrence Green's theory of behavior change, which encompasses predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors influencing behavior change. A qualitative methodology with a retrospective approach was employed, involving five informants. The research findings reveal that knowledge of the dangers of smoking does not significantly affect attitudes and actions towards quitting smoking, particularly during the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, among the five informants, only three actively used conventional cigarettes, one used electronic cigarettes, and one was a passive smoker. During the pandemic, the implementation of social restrictions led to a reduction in the number of cigarettes consumed due to limited outdoor access. Post-pandemic, all informants admitted to dual cigarette consumption. Informants smoked due to supporting factors, easy access to purchasing cigarettes, especially during the pandemic where informants purchased electronic cigarettes online. Reinforcement factors for smoking included the presence of smoking friends and family, as well as advertisements promoting new flavors of cigarettes. The recommendation of this study is for female smokers to quit smoking, as women play a crucial role in raising a healthy generation, and the exposure to cigarette smoke also poses risks to those inhaling it.
