Abstrak abstrak – salah satu layanan internet yang menarik untuk dilirik adalah layanan streaming video, dimana ini salah satu layanan yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat baik yang muda maupun yang tua. dengan meningkatnya penggunaan streaming video, dibutuhkan juga peningkatan kualitas pada segi teknologinya salah satunya teknologi pada transport layer yakni protokol transport yang digunakan guna menunjang kebutuhan streaming video. protocol transport yang umum digunakan saat ini adalah tcp dan udp. salah satu perusahaan it ternama yaitu google telah meluncurkan sebuah protocol transport berbasis udp yakni quic udp, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dibanding tcp dan udp standar. oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan kualitas dari kemampuan protocol transport quic udp tersebut dengan melakukan streaming video menggunakan jaringan 4g dan wifi. parameter yang ingin dilihat adalah seberapa besar throughput, delay, packet loss dan jitter yang didapat ketika menggunakan quic udp tersebut. hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan qos dari layanan streaming video saat menggunakan quic, dimana throughput mengalami peningkatan 0,5% - 20%, delay mengalami penurunan 39,97% - 58,83%, jitter mengalami penurunam sebesar 39,95% - 56,92% dan packet loss mengalami penurunam 0% - 100% pada saat menggunakan wifi dan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 0,04% ketika menggunakan 4g kata kunci : long time evolution (lte), quality of service (qos), througphut, , delay, packet loss, jitter,wireshark, protocol transport, quic udp

ABSTRACT Abstrak – One of the interesting internet services to look at is the video streaming service, which is one of the services most used by people, both young and old. With the increasing use of video streaming, quality improvements are also needed in terms of technology, one of which is the technology at the Transport Layer, namely the transport protocol used to support video streaming needs. The transport protocols commonly used today are TCP and UDP. One of the leading IT companies, namely Google, has launched a UDP-based transport protocol, namely QUIC UDP, which aims to improve service quality compared to standard TCP and UDP. Therefore, this study aims to obtain the quality of the capabilities of the QUIC UDP transport protocol by streaming video using 4G and WiFi networks. The parameters you want to see are how much throughput, delay, packet loss and jitter you get when using QUIC UDP. The test results show an increase in QoS from video streaming services when using QUIC, where throughput has increased by 0.5% - 20%, delay has decreased by 39.97% - 58.83%, jitter has decreased by 39.95% - 56, 92% and packet loss has decreased 0% - 100% when using wifi and experienced an increase of 0.04% when using 4G Keywords : Long Time Evolution (LTE), Quality of Service (QoS), Througphut, , Delay, packet loss, jitter,Wireshark, protocol transport, QUIC UDP
