Prarancangan pabrik metanol ini menggunakan gas alam sebagai bahan baku. kapasitas produksi pabrik metanol ini adalah 700.000 ton/tahun dengan hari kerja yaitu 330 hari/tahun, bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan menggunakan metode struktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 130 orang. pabrik metanol ini direncakan berlokasi di iskandar muda industrial area (imia), kabupaten aceh utara, provinsi aceh dengan luas tanah 51.211 m2. sumber air pabrik metanol berasal dari sungai peusangan, provinsi aceh dan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik diperoleh dari perusahaan listrik negara (pln) dan generator dengan daya 85.465,02 kw . hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: a) fixed capital investment (fci) = rp. 2.533.140.941.676 b) working capital investment (wci) = rp. 633.285.235.419 c) total capital investment (tci) = rp. 3.166.426.177.095 d) total production cost (tpc) = rp. 4.614.626.737.258 e) sales = rp. 5.695.948.142.270 f) laba bersih = rp. 810.991.053.758 g) pay out time (pot) = 4,85 tahun h) break event point (bep) = 40,02 % i) internal rate of return (irr) = 21,5 % j) rate of return (ror) = 25,61 %

This preliminary design for a methanol factory utilizes natural gas as a raw material, has an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons, and a work day of approximately 330 days. The intended business structure is a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Iskandar Muda Industrial Area, Aceh Utara Regency, Aceh Province, has been chosen to be the location of the factory facility. 130 employees are required to operate this company. 51,211 m2 of land is required to construct the factory. The water source for the Methanol facility comes from the Pesangan River in Aceh Province, while the electrical power needed will be supplied by the State Electricity Company (PLN) and the 85.465,02 kW Generator. The results of economic analysis are below: a) Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 2.533.140.941.676 b) Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 633.285.235.419 c) Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 3.166.426.177.095 d) Total Production Cost (TPC) = Rp. 4.614.626.737.258 e) Sales = Rp. 5.695.948.142.270 f) Net Profit = Rp. 810.991.053.758 g) Pay Out Time (POT) = 4,85 tahun h) Break Event Point (BEP) = 40,02 % i) Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 21,5 % j) Rate Of Return (ROR) = 25,61 %
