Pemilu 2019 yang dilaksanakan serentak memberikan dampak sekaligus peluang bagi partai-partai politik. partai gerindra merupakan salah satu partai yang mengusungkan calon presiden yaitu prabowo subianto, sehingga pada pemilihan legislatif tahun 2019, partai gerindra membawa perubahan yang sangat meningkat terlihat dari pileg tahun 2009, partai gerindra tidak memperoleh kursi di dpra, tahun 2014 didapati peningkatan kursi yang diraih oleh gerindra di tingkat provinsi aceh menjadi 3 kursi, kemudian pada 2019 meningkat drastis menjadi 8 kursi. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi politik partai gerindra dalam peningkatan perolehan kursi di dpra pada pemilu legislatif tahun 2019. teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori strategi politik yang dikemukakan oleh peter schroder. metode penelitian ini ialah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan perolehan kursi yang didapatkan partai gerindra pada pemilu legislatif 2019 di dpra, dilakukan dengan beberapa strategi politik seperti halnya strategi ofensif perluasan pasar, yang mengoptimalkan efek ekor jas politik, dalam hal ini bapak prabowo dianggap berperan penting dalam meningkatkan suara partai. kemudian melakukan strategi ofensif, dengan melakukan pergantian stuktural internal di dalam partai, dalam rangka penguatan dan penyegaran stuktural ditingkat provinsi dan mempersiapkan sdm partai agar lebih matang dalam memberikan penawaran terbaik kepada masyarakat. kemudian partai gerindra melakukan afiliasi dengan partai lokal terbesar di aceh, yaitu dengan partai aceh, yang dipercaya dapat memberikan pengaruh yang besar. dengan adanya strategi tersebut, diperoleh peningkatan suara partai gerindra di dpra pada pemilu legislatif tahun 2019 secara signifikan. disarankan kepada partai gerindra agar terus mengupayakan kestabilan partai baik dari eksternal maupun dari segi internal, serta dapat terus konsisten dan memanfaatkan afiliasi dengan partai lokal aceh, agar akan tetap selalu ada perwakilan partai lokal ditingkat nasional, sehingga mempermudah mereka dalam memperjuangkan segala bentuk aspirasi masyarakat aceh. kata kunci : strategi politik, partai gerindra, pemilu legislatif.

The 2019 elections, which were held simultaneously, provided both an impact and a good opportunity for parties that promoted presidential candidates. Gerindra Party is one of the parties that nominated a presidential candidate, namely Prabowo Subianto, so that in the 2019 legislative elections, Gerindra Party brought a very increasing change in the acquisition of seats in the DPRA. This increase can be seen from the 2009 legislative election, Gerindra Party did not win any seats in the DPRA, in 2014 it was found that Gerindra won 3 seats at the Aceh Province level, then in 2019 it increased dramatically to 8 seats. The purpose of this study is to determine the political strategy of the Gerindra Party in increasing the number of seats in the DPRA in the 2019 legislative elections. This research method is qualitative, with the data collection techniques used are conducting interviews and documentation. The result of this study is that the increase in the number of seats obtained by the Gerindra Party in the 2019 legislative elections in the DPRA, was carried out with several political strategies such as the offensive strategy of market expansion, which applies the political coattail effect, in this case Mr. Prabowo who is considered to play an important role in increasing party votes. Then carry out an offensive strategy, by making internal structural changes within the Party, in order to strengthen and refresh the structure at the provincial level and prepare party human resources to be more mature in providing the best offer to the community. Then Gerindra Party affiliated with the largest local party in Aceh, namely the Aceh Party, which was believed to have great influence. With this strategy, there was a significant increase in Gerindra Party votes in the DPRA in the 2019 legislative elections. It is recommended that the Gerindra Party continue to strive for party stability both externally and internally, and can continue to be consistent and utilize affiliations with other Acehnese local parties, so that there are more local party representatives at the national level, making it easier for them to fight for all forms of aspirations of the Acehnese people.
