abstrak. penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh jenis mikoriza dan kombinasi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao pada tanah entisol serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antar kedua faktor tersebut. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di rumah kaca dan laboratorium hortikultura fakultas pertanian universitas syiah kuala, darussalam banda aceh, yang telah dilaksanakan dari september sampai dengan desember 2022. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan dan 27 satuan percobaan. jenis mikoriza yang terdiri dari 3 jenis yaitu glomus mosseae, gigaspora sp., dan campuran (glomus mosseae + gigaspora sp.) serta media tanam yang terdiri dari 3 kombinasi yaitu media tanam tanah : cocopeat : pupuk kandang (2:2:2), tanah : cocopeat : pupuk kandang (2:2:1), dan tanah : cocopeat : pupuk kandang (2:1:1). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan jenis mikoriza berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap diameter pangkal batang 90 hst, jumlah daun 90 hst, dan kolonisasi mikoriza, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 90 hst, pertumbuhan bibit kakao terbaik dijumpai pada jenis mikoriza campuran (glomus mosseae + gigaspora sp.). kombinasi media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 90 hst, diameter pangkal batang 90 hst, dan kolonisasi mikoriza, pertumbuhan bibit kakao terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi media tanam tanah : cocopeat : pupuk kandang (2:2:2). terdapat interaksi nyata antara jenis mikoriza dan kombinasi media tanam terhadap tinggi tanaman 90 hst, kombinasi lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao dijumpai pada jenis mikoriza campuran (glomus mosseae + gigaspora sp.) dengan kombinasi media tanam tanah : cocopeat : pupuk kandang (2:2:1). kata kunci : mikoriza, media tanam, dan kakao



Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of mycorrhiza types and the combination of planting media on the growth of cacao seedlings on Entisol soil and to determine the interaction between the two factors. This research was conducted in Greenhouse and Horticulture Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh, from September to December 2022. This study used a group randomized design (RAK) 3 x 3 factorial pattern with 3 replications, so there were 9 treatment combinations and 27 experimental units. The type of mycorrhiza consisting of 3 types, namely Glomus mosseae, Gigaspora sp., and a mixture (Glomus mosseae + Gigaspora sp.) and planting media consisting of 3 combinations, namely soil: Cocopeat: Manure (2:2:2), Soil: Cocopeat: Manure (2:2:1), and Soil: Cocopeat: Manure (2:1:1). The results showed that the treatment of mycorrhiza types had a very significant effect on the diameter of the base of the stem 90 HST, the number of leaves 90 HST, and mycorrhiza colonization, significantly affected the height of the plant 90 HST, the best cacao seedling growth was found in the type of mycorrhiza mixture (Glomus mosseae + Gigaspora sp.). The combination of planting media significantly affects the 90 HST plant height, 90 HST stem base diameter, and mycorrhiza colonization, the best cacao seedling growth is found in the combination of planting media Soil: Cocopeat: Manure (2:2:2). There was a significant interaction between the type of mycorrhiza and the combination of planting media on plant height at 90 HST, the best combination for cacao seedling growth was found in the mixed mycorrhiza type (Glomus mosseae + Gigaspora sp.) with a combination of planting media Soil: Cocopeat: Manure (2:2:1).
