Covid-19 merupakan virus penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus corona sars-cov-2 yang pertama kali muncul pada desember 2019 di kota wuhan, china. di provinsi aceh sendiri kasus pertama covid-19 terjadi pada tanggal 23 maret 2020, sehingga sangat berdampak pada jarak dan jumlah perjalanan kendaraan khususnya di kota banda aceh dan kab. aceh besar. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan jarak perjalanan, jumlah perjalanan, emisi co2 dan variabel apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap emisi co2 pada masa pandemi covid19 dan new normal. pengambilan data primer menggunakan kuesioner terhadap masyarakat pada 8 (delapan) kecamatan di kabupaten aceh besar, kemudian data tersebut dianalisis dan dilakukan t-test untuk signifikansinya, estimasi emisi co2 dapat digunakan dengan panduan ipcc (international panel on climate change) 2006. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan uji paired t-test terhadap perbedaan antara jarak perjalanan dan jumlah perjalanan pada saat pandemi covid19 dan saat new normal menyatakan perbedaan yang signifikan. saat pandemi covid-19 jarak perjalanan dan jumlah perjalanan lebih sedikit daripada saat masa new normal. emisi co2 pada saat pandemi covid-19 lebih rendah daripada saat masa new normal, dan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda variabel yang signifikan mempengaruhi perbedaan emisi co2 pada saat pandemi covid-19 dan saat new normal adalah jenis kendaraan, jenis kelamin, serta jarak perjalanan.

Covid-19 is an infectious disease virus caused by the SARS-CoV-2 corona virus which first appeared in December 2019 in the city of Wuhan, China. Aceh Province itself, the first case of Covid-19 occurred on March 23, 2020, so it greatly impacted the distance and number of vehicle trips, especially in the cities of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in travel distance, number of trips, CO2 emissions and what variables affect CO2 emissions during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire from the community in 8 (eight) sub-districts in Aceh Besar District, then the data was analyzed and a t-test was carried out for its significance. CO2 emission estimates can be used with the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) 2006 guidelines. The results of this study shows that the Paired T-Test of the difference between travel distance and number of trips during the Covid-19 pandemic and during the new normal stated a significant difference. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the distance traveled and the number of trips were less than during the new normal period. CO2 emissions during the covid-19 pandemic were lower than during the new normal period, and using the multiple linear regression method the variables that significantly affected the difference in CO2 emissions during the covid-19 pandemic and during the new normal were Vehicle Type, Gender, and Travel Distance.
